Toby Funk that’s because Rogan is a phenomenal podcaster but he doesn’t know comedy. He’s not naturally funny and has to work hard at it but his specials still reflect that the only reason why everyone says his specials are great, to his face, is because of the clout. People go to Rogans show because his podcast. Rogan struggles when any guest starts trying to riff and actually be funny with him. He doesn’t get the most basic jokes and always asks guests if they’re being serious when it’s obvious it’s a joke. So naturally he would tell a punch drunk mma guy like Brendan to do comedy. Sure Brendan is alright on podcasts but his podcast with Theo, The King And the Sting podcast is SCRIPTED and there’s evidence of it being SCRIPTED, because he can’t keep up

When my mom didn't want to cook it was a rotisserie chicken and a salad or steamed veggies from a bag. As for the butter argument, unsalted goes in the fridge, salted can stay on the counter for a short period. Salt is a preservative so it's perfectly safe for a few days

Dad and Uncle were Exucutive Chef's. I grew up bangin saute pans in "highend" 5 star kitchens. The specials were usually a different theme from menu, rare item or hard to get consistently enough to have on the main menu like soft shell crab, wild game, certain produce etc. Any Executive Chef worth his salt does all if the budgeting, menus and ordering. They rarely run out and never have large surplus because the menus are changed too often for basic repeat ordering. Soups on the other hand like bisques and chowders utilized the little surplus from night before. Alot of people think they worked at or go to "highend" restaurants but most are just repackaged over priced 3 - 4 star food stategically plated and served with white gloves. The only thing fancy or highend is the realestate and the owners wifes tits. With that said my Dad loved a good greasy spoon dive or diner. Watching a classically trained gourmet chef go HAM at a Pizza Hut is fucking priceless!
