Sonic imo, because damage is irreparable and you're barging into enemy groups, and Sonics are obviously most effective and melee-ish range, damage per shot are very high too

Sonics. If the weapon has a fixed reload and empties clip fast, the reload will be a mess. Either no reload or continous reload is ideal. On top of this, Sonics deal structural damage and leaves your target with “technically” no chance of repair. (Grey damage fixers and Durability Extender kinda Ruins it.

The 1 problem with sonics is you get a lot of ghost shots and hits that don't register. I dunno if it's lag or what but they have ghost shots worse than any other weapon. And that's a huge factor

Sonics and explo shotguns have their own strengths and weaknesses Sonics are good very close combat and damage unrepairable is huge but reload can be a problem sometimes Explo Shotguns benefit from having longer range and are good for skyros’ and other tanky bots and the fixed reload is also helpful sometimes

Adding on to the preference of blast shottys is that even with distance they have little dog dropoff especially when levelled to a high grade. I’d prefer to close off the distance cap than deal irreparable dmg at close range

Can you try Stake-Spear on this? Its kinda pointless because you have 350m difference and only 1 weapon providing shield. But they all have no reload I guess?

I have 3 maxed Anglers. Two normal and one Cruel Angler but I only run the Cruel Angler now. Since they made the rust rockets redundant I've tried the sonic set up and the shotgun set up to replace the rust rockets and overall I found the shotguns work best for me. Sonics are good too, especially because of the unhealable grey damage but shotguns just seem to suit my playstyle better. It might be different for other players. It's just a preference thing I suppose. Edit: I hate games like that first one. The reds drop in with all their Titans and you look at your team and there's only two of you left and you're only on your second bot. It's like WTF??? Sometimes you just get a really shitty team and no matter how good you are there's zero chance of pulling off the win. Lol

You should do a video comparing all the different shotgun types(normal shotguns, lockdown shotguns, blast shotguns, and sonic shotguns). Put each one on a Skyros and compare.

Now the robots move so fast. Plus, there is always lag in game. These make sonic weapons always miss some shots. The blast shot gun can lockdown target easily with Paralysis. I recommend sonic weapon on Scorpion to avoid its disadvantage, and blast shot gun on other robot.

I prefer the bsg bec they have longer range and can bypass physical shields of the rook, angler, etc and bec they do a blast explosion that does area dmg

There is a healing bug happening on robots using skills related to Phase Shift (Ravana, Angler, Indra,...). It makes you cannot heal even when there's no gray health
