I'm looking forward to trying this. I'm a big fan of kirtabier, and since Festmärzen is the same beer, only filtered, I should like it. You say if it wasn't for the fact that these beers are seasonal, you'd drink them all year, but here in Norway Vinmonopolet sell Kirtabier all year around, so you should be able to drink it all year in the UK, too! Skål!

Weihenstephaner keller bier ( 1516 ) is fantastic! We had some at Weihenstephaner last Oct 2022. Great place to see as well.

I totally agree. This is the best of the German Octoberfests. Paulaner would be my second choice. I'm not a big fan of the rest of the Big 6.

Believe it or not, this beer is produced year round. I live in the states, but you have to special order it. Cheers

No it's not, where did you get this information? They don't start the process until March for an August/September release. luckily, I can find this fairly easy around me during this time of the year. No special ordered required!
