I do want to add, Ayo, I agree with your personality, much like mines, It’s best to express how one feels right away when they’re hurt and never hold anything in their heart. It’s not healthy for any relationship to hold things inside. Also I totally agree with Ope too concerning speaking words in anger. I’ve had to learn that lesson in a painful way myself; But after 25 years of being happily married, we don’t discuss anything while we’re hurt and upset. Words we don’t mean may come out of our mouths and then we can’t take them back. God bless Ayo for letting go those painful words. Great advice for couples, guys. I love and appreciate it. We can certainly transfer your teachings over to friends relationship and even to our relationship with God. Sometimes we are hurt or angry with God for one reason or another and we may say hurtful things to Him. Of course He forgives us, but what I’ve ran into in my line of work, is watching the enemy beat up on a person with forgiving themselves. So I’m excited for this series, as you can see. I love your genuinity. May you continue to grown in Love. My question is in a relationship if you still remember what your spouse has done especially if it is long time ago. Have you really forgiven them? or is it just stored up in your heart so when you disagree with them in future it will be a point of reference "you've done this before just like so so time... pull up the card of years ago when your spouse made a mistake." Should you just completely forget and not remember and ask the Lord to remove it from your mind so you can never identify your spouse with such characteristics. Or its okay to still remember doesn't mean you've not forgiven them.
