It's kind of poetic, how the last human alive (on Mars) is dreaming/reliving his past lives, and discovers he was also the first human on Earth.

And welcome to The Dawn of Mankind. Where can our colonist, living at The Dusk, go from here? Edit: "Mars is ancient lore." Our colonist is ecstatic. He, who was raised in a metal shell of the Mars colony, always inside, never feeling the warmth of the sun on his skin... Is now experiencing the purest form of nature through the eyes of the first man. That is an overwhelming feeling. He could get lost in this life. Forget all about Mars and his doomed life there. Edit 2: Also... As you already have these pieces of the puzzle, I'd like to point out... "The Human Equation program aborted. Have a nice day. Dream Sequencer system offline." Our colonist is not the only one to use the machine. And the one that used it for The Human Equation says "Emotions... I remember.", which also isn't without meaning.
