This is beautiful Stephen and Mal. Seriously. I don't know Ayrielle nor could I speak for her, but I can relate to this and say this must have meant the world to her. When I was 13 I was diagnosed with severe Crohn's Disease, and it plagued me with serious complications, multiple surgeries, years of time spent on and off in the hospital, severe depression that even do this day still persists now and then, among so many other issues. It wasn't even until two years ago, after 10 years of suffering from it, that I was finally able to hit remission. Regardless of whatever medical condition you have, it's hard to deal with. It drains the energy from you each and every day and makes everything so difficult. In my time I've met so many kids with medical conditions, and they are so much stronger than me. Even with everything going on they can have a smile on their face, and it's one of the best things I've seen. It's not me but I want to thank you two for doing this regardless. It might seem like an "of course we'd go!" type of thing, but it's never really that obvious or that easy. This day you two spent with her is something she can look back on for the rest of her life. When things get hard, times like this are what she'll remember and use to show that not everything has a bad outlook. Thank you again for this Stephen and Mal. Not for me, but for Ayrielle and everyone else out there, kid or adult, suffering from any kind of medical condition. People like you who use their time to make wishes like this a reality give me the strength to keep going. It might seem like a small thing to do to some people, but to others this means so, so much.

I rarely write a comment on any video so sorry if this is all over the place, but I felt it justified to write one here. My first thought when I found out that you were coming to Vancouver was for you guys to hold a meet and greet with other fans in the area, because I live in Vancouver too and almost no KZbinrs ever come here. Anyways, after watching this video I realized that you spent a whole day with Ayrielle. And I am so happy that you did that, if it was up to me I would choose spending a whole day with someone like Ariel over doing a meet and greet any day, and I want to thank you for doing that. The video has opened up my eyes to being grateful for what I have. I learned about Make-A-Wish Canada through this vlog and I am determined to volunteer for that organization and help people like you do. I feel ashamed of myself for acting so selfishly upon learning that you guys were coming to my hometown and strive to not act so selfish in the future. You said that Make-A-Wish has not only impacted Ayrielle’s life, but yours too. You can say all you want about what it takes to be a KZbinr: The algorithms, the constant content, the stress of pleasing every single one of your fans all the time, etc. But every so often, you find stories like this. Stories where there's a kid with half a heart who gets to wish for anything she wants, and her greatest wish is to meet you two. She knows your channel so well she's pulling obscure references out of nowhere. She seems to be having the best time ever..... hanging with you guys. And that, I think, makes the stress of this platform, for creators and watchers, a little easier to bear. Good on you two for doing this. I'm sure Aryelle will not soon forget it....and you shouldn't either. Think on this day when things get hard down the road. It's all worth it for watchers like her. :)

This warms my heart to see you two doing this kind of thing. It's actually making me emotional because I was a Make a Wish kid when I was younger. I was diagnosed with brain cancer when I was about 3 or 4(can't actually remember what age I was). My Make a Wish trip was to Disney World in Florida. I live in the Midwest, more specifically, Wisconsin. Seeing this vlog brought back memories. Thank you, Stephen and Mal. Keep doing great things. Just from witnessing this video its clear to see that the people and content creators on youtube (and any platform to be honest) influence and shape the mind of the people watching them. While I hope Im not saying putting this rudely, Stephen and Mall are parts of a smaller youtube channel than say Game Grumps or other similar gaming channels, however, the fact that Ayrielle wanted Stephen because she loved his content shows just how powerful and influential he was to not only her, but many, many others. This is awesome. As someone who has faced very rough circumstances involving health, going through something like Ayrielle is very rough. I also have a congenital heart defect, a single ventricle and it is very hard to deal to with, thankfully Im able to manage I just get very tired and the amount of oxygen that I have in my body is not as much as I should have. I had a life changing surgery at the age of ten that has made me able to be more active but I still cant participate much. I was never given the chance to be a Make-A-Wish kid, but I have known some people who have been. What they do at make-A-Wish is so incredible and unfortunately people dont always have the availability to go and see a child that wished to meet them. Stephen and Mal you are just incredible people to help a girl with her wish, as those wishes mean the world to people.. I never got my wish, but I still help everyone else achieve theirs. I am very proud that you both flew across the country and into a different country just to make a girl smile. It was so selfless and just amazing to see as these days kindness is hard to come by. Hey Stephen and Mal, it's great to see all of this come together for Ayrielle. Back home in Ottawa, there's a young man named Tysen who got his wish granted in 2012 to meet his idol Adam Sandler. Since then, Tysen started his Mission to a Million, campaign, in hopes of raising a Million dollars for the Make-a-Wish Foundation to help grant more wishes. To date, he's raised $727 000. It's great to see the organization do so much for these kids, and the impact it has on them could not be understated. I don't think Ayrielle could have chosen anyone better to spend a day with, and I wish her and her family the best in the years to come!
