Girl this is me. Grades were emphasized so much it got to a point where I felt like I wasn’t good at anything but school. This led me to 2 years of college majoring in sum I had NO interest in and $12,000 of loan debt 🙃 Right after that 1st Covid semester I talked myself into living my life for me, dropped out of nursing school, and began doing nails and I couldn’t be happier. I haven’t gotten to a point where I can quit my job yet but to even know that that’s my future is so fulfilling. 💕

I graduated hs and went to college not knowing what I wanted to do. Dropped out and went to cosmetology school only to return to college years later and got a bachelor’s degree. You are young and still have time to go to college if you choose to later on. I love that you went with your gut instinct to follow your dream!❤ This was a really good video. Thx 😊

I went through the same thing except I was in the practicing phase. 2 daughters that didn't want their nails done, full time job, wife and no room to go to school at the time. Binge watching your old videos 🥹 I went to school for dental assisting while I was in high school. Once I graduated from hs I was a certified DA, I worked as a DA for almost two years then I became a stay home mom/wife 🫶🏻 I’ve always done my own nails and other since I was a little girl 😅 I was such a creative girl. I used to stress about taking a completely different career path but I’m only 21 and I’m very passionate about nails. I started this year and have been practicing on a few family and friends. Im looking forward to going for my license in the next year or so 🙌🏻

Been a nurse for 2.5 years. I chose it because I wanted it, but I can slowly hear a voice louder and louder of "be your own boss". Even in middle school, I LOVED polish, but then I strayed. I'm just intrigued in a career that could bring me happiness. Potentially with my sister, and we could provide other services like facials or lashes. Idk, I am just stuck. Doesn't help that I hate where I work at right now too lol.

I'm moving kind of far out of state actually to Georgia! Lol to start school to be a nail tech. I wfh already but i would rather do something i love than something i just can do. But I'm too old to just quit but I'm able to do both until i get things going. My hardest struggle is being good at doing things i didn't want to do forever. Like hair. I've been doing hair for do long but i don't like it. I always got my nails done and one day i seen a nail video and was like i can do this and next thing you know i started buying things and practicing and like it more and more

People shun 9-5 when that's what gets you by when times get rough. (All shun needed) but a job is a job. I do nails at a hobby (start at 16) great hobby and a simple money maker, but they're not me. I love how you don't have a 9-5, but a schedule Is great for some people. You gotta be disciplined and consistent to "work loose."

I'm so scared that I'll let them go with 3 hours of my hard work with a small bill like a 5 or 10. To be fair, I don't do acrylic bc the smell gives me headaches, and I work from my small room on the floor. So would the cheaper price be good considering everything or not? I worked 3 years in a chocolate factory. I loved my job even thou people found it funny and stupid and many wondered how can I like heavy jobs like that. Then I had to quit and change country cuz of my x partner. Nails saved my life. My mentality. Whatever individuality I have left.
