Girl whenever I use pigment powders and wipe away it’s ALWAYS stuck to parts of the nails I don’t want it to be stuck to so I haven’t tried again but these are so pretty now I wana try them one more time 😩

you probably have to use a top coat before you put the powder on.

So I used to do this step (polishing the nails before nail designs) but since I started buffing my nails with cuticle oil I find I haven’t needed to do that step. At least on my last two sets lol but I’ve only tried it a couple of times. I may go back to the top coat for base before nail art… keep ya updated 😂

I agree with this I’ve been doing the same and as long as I wipe them down with swipe or alcohol first the gel polish sticks fine. It’s a GAME CHANGER

When I first started it took me 6 hours 😭😭that was in October… now it still takes me long but I’m down to 4-5 hours lol trying to get to 3 hours by my 1 yr mark for short up to XL but we shall see

How much do you charge for acrylic toes and/or how much would you charge for your bundle package? I’m a nail tech just getting started after licensing and curious about comparing average prices for services.

I charge $50 for acrylic toes atm I’ve seen people charge between 45-100 for them

the prices are going to vary dramatically depending on not just nail tech experience, but also things like location - with the amount of competition (how many other nail techs are close enough to you with similar skill level and/or services offered) or big city vs rural area with larger cities offering prices of the same service performed at different nail salons and/or different nail techs to vary wildly. a really good thing to do when you’re getting started is to offer a free first time service. it’ll get people in the door and if your work speaks for itself, they will come back. it’s the idea of a free sample but on a whole other level - i recommend this to experienced techs also who are just looking to increase their client base. post on your social media or something that you’re looking for hand models for a one time free service - and if they like your work they’ll not only post a pic tagging you, but their friends if they like it also will be intrigued by a free first time and probably book it with you. you’d have to make sure you’re able to log their drivers license or ID in order to prevent duplicate offerings. it’s a really incredible way to build a client list from nothing requiring good work tho. it could potentially backfire if your work is subpar or people are really unhappy with it. so it’s risky if you’re not confident in your abilities as a nail tech. but you can call around to see what people are charging in your area and then look at their websites and see if you believe your work is better or worse and charge more or less or the exact same- according to your abilities, the avg price of the area, and what you have to offer. hope this helps

I personally wouldnt charge any less than $85! If I wanted these and was told $100 I would pay that! Just because of the time it takes to do each and every color for each individual nail! If they understand what they’re asking you to do they wont mind paying you for YOUR time because that looks very tedious.
