@@lordjaec windows is much more useful for info about the dead zones which your teammates create by dropping pallets so you can run the killer better and longer. But it also helps to memorize all the loops, yes.

Exactly it almost makes me not unhook randoms but I always have to remember the next games are completely new survivors and different people so I try to be nice and if I can't I just go killer and devour hope 4 mori them

Rookie Spirit is the real underrated perk now. Since killer's kicks are limited knowing which gens were kicked can give you a head start on cheesing the kicking

@lloydg4949 Just do be careful cause that is a slipper slope! I ran Third Seal on Legion for a few games cause they apply it teamwide pretty quickly. And noticed those matches were quite easier when my games usually are tough. And then it hit me. Take away people's Windows and Deja Vus and all of a sudden no one knows how to play the game anymore 😭 People weren't as Gen efficient and missing obvious pallets. TLDR: The Brainrot is real so best to get some games in WITHOUT those perks so you stay sharp if you ever wanna run a different build or if the perks get changed.

It is a good perk, I go back and fourth on keeping a gen perk or not, a lot of times I think if I just ran it I would do less time running around. Without it tho it forces you to learn the maps a little better tho

Before you made your first video, ever since the buff I've been running my old main build as deja vu, resilience, Sprint Burst, adrenaline. Now I run Deja vu, resilience, decisive, and plot twist. I just can't seem to get rid of deja vu, it's such a clutch perk for solo q. And even when doing duos with my BF it's still a amazing perk because I can clearly communicate which gens need to be worked on

I used to swear by the perk long before the most recent buff, but no one believed it was that strong. Back then, people thought it was still in its original state, where it simply showed three random gens on the map. But once it showed the three closest gens, it became a go-to perk for me. Before the 3-gen meta killers arrived, I found it had its best performance against Nurse. If you can pop a Deja-Vu generator every time, you're going to really stretch the Nurse's ability to warp between the generators by the end game. The distance is just too great. It was the only macro-scale counter I found to the old Omega-Blink Nurse, but even then, it wasn't much. Thank god she's gone.

I've been literally using this perk in EVERY one of my matches since the day it was changed. The value is insane. Faster repair, looping away from gens, preventing 3-gens, not wandering around looking for a gen on the worst maps, etc.

On my first ever dwight build (my first character), i used deja vu. It was so useful for me as a new and inexperienced player to know where gens are and get more speed on them. I still use it in my builds for the anti-3gen potential.

Prestige means nothing in solo queue. I have played with absolutely garbage teammates with 50+ prestige. Edit: Also I think people get left on hook so much in solo queue because everyone else assumes the other teammate is going to go for the rescue because they are doing something far more important like starting a new gen or cleansing a non hexed totem. So then the person just gets left to get to second stage before everyone comes all at once to save them.

When in multifloor maps like Midwich or The Game, I always try to do one of the two gens that are highlighted that are also on the same floor. Switching floors is mostly more distance than staying on the same floor.

I run Deja Vu, Dance with me, Lithe and Prove Thy Self with a med kit while soloing, it's such a strong kit purely because it covers the foundations of surv play perfectly. Wanna do gens efficiently? Either do a marked gen alone or use PTS with another on a different gen. Want to break a chase? Get in a loop, hit a vault spot and break line of sight ASAP to get the most out of the few seconds of value from DWM. Want to heal up another surv quick? Medkit.

Deja vu in solo queue is really good because i gets to deny the killer's 3 gen control which happens a lot more often than people realize. Other than that, it's just a permanent +9% buff to doing gens.

I use Deja vu constantly. My only issue with it is that it doesn’t mesh with perks that give generators yellow auras, like Trail of Torment. The red aura trumps the yellow aura, and as a result you often miss out on valuable information.

I play solo queue and I see the value in Deja vu, I guess I don’t see a purpose in running it because I kinda aggressively pan the map looking for nearby gens. For maps with easily controlled three gens I just pop up intentionally on opposing sides of the map to break rough 3 gen end games. I do see more value in it for lerys though since the gen spread can be pretty screwy, AND is indoors
