Without learning anything of the vedas I have experienced this with my clients as I try to help them be well in a complete sense. Again and again - just trying to help people be better, you can see the patterns and causes. It is so thrilling to hear the Vedas describing this and putting in what I have experienced. It is like hearing the sound of a clear stream listening to Dr Parthasarathy. One can experience it directly in body, mind and consciousness. And it describes one's experience directly and precisely. We are so fortunate to have this wisdom in our tradition. We are so fortunate to have this beautiful talk to bring the wisdom to us. A great gift.

Respected Doctorjee, Namaskaar. Thanks for your highly informative video with clear explanation. I am writing this on behalf of a friend who was taking care of his 89 years old mother. In February and March 2014, his mother had severe breathing problem and was hospitalised three times. They diagnosed the disease as Interstitial Lung Disease for which there was ni cure in allopathy at that time. When at the hospital for the third time due to breathing difficulty, she told my friend’s brother that she would survive for 2 years (though by God’s Grace she survived for 3 years). After this, she asked my friend to sell her jewels and keep them as cash; first time it was 2 years before she died and the second time it was 1 month or so before she passed away. She passed away in April 2017. After his mother’s hospitalisations, my friend became very worried. One day when the woman who used to supply curd to their house asked my friend how his mother was, he replied, "I am very worried. My mother has some illness and the doctors say that people with this illness will live only for 3 to 5 years". He completely forgot this conversation and remembered it only last month. By God’s Grace, the medicines prescribed by Patanjali Chikitsaalaya’s medicines worked well. When he had a chest CT scan in July 2014 to confirm, his mother’s CT scan report showed that there was no ILD and it showed normal result. But the problem is that my friend forgot to tell about it to his mother. He bought a pulse oximeter to measure the level of oxygen in her blood. He began measuring it regularly from February 2015 until September 2016, and the level was always in the normal range. But though he was glad, it didn't strike to him to tell his mother that this normal reading meant that her lung condition was normal. After this he forgot to use it. According to blood test report done just two weeks prior to her death, in renal test, her BUN and Creatinine Serum were in the normal range. Her liver function test was also normal. She was not diabetic. Although my friend didn't mention about the chest CT Scan of his mother, which showed no ILD, when his cousin came to visit them nearly two months before my friend's mother passed away, his cousin was mentioning about his 84 years aunt who had ILD and was on 8 hours of Oxygen during night daily. At this time my friend compared the condition of this aunt with the condition of his mother and said to his mother that by God's Grace, his mother had no lung problem. Would this have instilled some confidence in his mother to overcome her fear? Until the day on which his mother died, he didn't stop giving medicines to her, though these were vomited during the last few days. He always used to give medicines by himself to his mother instead of depending on her attendant woman as he thought that she may not give the medicines properly. He himself used to apply herbal oil to his mother's legs for strength, as prescribed by the doctor. He installed a handgrip for her, in the toilet, just two weeks before she died. By God’s Grace, even one and half years after hearing what my friend said to the curd vendor woman, his mother retained her usual occasional sense of humour. There was a Tamil speaking attendant woman by name Muniamma. My friend’s mother used to call her "Motta Muni". (This woman had her hair in the head shaven as an offering to a deity at that time). When Muniamma left for lunch and returned, his mother used to ask her as to what she ate. When his brother visited her almost every day during tea time, she used to ask him whether he had tea, and inquire the welfare of his wife and daughter. She used to ask my friend or his brother to take her for a small round of walk to the corridor. She continued to smile on seeing good comedy shows. She continued liking TV serials (though not as enthusiastically as before her hospitalisation). Even until her last month, she used to occasionally smile at my friend, his brother, close relatives and well wishers. When others crack a good joke she would smile. Even in her last month, she used to ask her attendant to switch the corridor light on when it was about 6 pm. During his mother's last few days, whenever he was too tired or not feeling well, my friend used to ask his brother to give medicines to her and he promptly did it. His mother's doctor had prescribed a tablet known as "Hridayamrit Vati" for her cardiomegaly and for controlling her high cholesterol. This tablet is prescribed for many different heart related reasons such as to treat blockages in the heart, cardiomegaly, to control cholesterol, to strengthen the heart etc. He never told his mother that she had cardiomegaly. He never told her that this medicine was given to control her cholesterol. When telling the names of tablets to his brother, he used to mention "Hridayamrit Vati" also. In Hindi, “Hridayamvrit Vati” means “Tonic for the heart”. As his mother knew Hindi also, on hearing this name, would his mother have got afraid that she had some heart disease, worried or depressed, kept it inside and died due to fear or depression? My friend doesn't remember whether his mother continued her small round of walk in the corridor, her inquiring about the welfare of his brother's wife and daughter etc. even after she heard the name 'Hridyamrit vati. My friend thinks that on hearing the word 'Hridyamrit vati', his mother would have developed worry, fear or depression, kept it inside her and died to it. His mother died more than two years after what he said to the curd vendor woman. My friend thinks that his mother would have heard what he said to the curd vendor woman and developed fear, worry or depression, kept it inside her, died due to this. He feels extremely guilty that it did not strike to him to assure to his mother that she didn’t have any problem except acidity and BP for which her doctor had prescribed medicines. My friend feels extremely worried and guilty thinking that his mother would have died because of fear or worry or depression on hearing what he said to the curd vendor woman and on hearing the medicine's name 'Hridyamrit vati'. He has stopped eating properly. But, even on the day before she died, when her attendant woman asked my friend's mother whether she would like to go to Chennai beach to spend some time, my friend's mother smiled. I said to my friend, "If your mother was afraid, worried or depressed, she would not have smiled when her attendant woman asked her whether she would like to go to Chennai beach". But my friend says that I am saying it just because I don't want him to be worried. He says that he would accept it if instead of me, a qualified doctor says this. I would be extremely grateful if you can kindly let me know what you think. I and my friend respect your valuable opinion. I will pay any fees that you may charge, in advance, online. Thanks and best regards🙏. Sincerely Guruprasad.
