Everything else is apt and great but i would like to add my experience seeing this brings me closer to my mother. My whole life my mother has treated me from the kitchen no food poisoning required norflox . Its now that i started taking medicine for cold as a quickfix in college and whole year i had recurrent cold now and then, evn medicine first time worked in single day after some months i took 3 days to recover and thn 6 - 7 days . Since im back home she makes me a kadha made of all spices. it is just one fourth of a cup it has turmeric ginger i think she puts all the spices she can find and i have never been ill. I had cold twice in 2 years which lasted maximum 2 days. So yes mother is the first vaidya in a childs life and mother has been the best one to me.
