Honest review, i confim it, Disadvantages are - 1. Tail section not sharp. 2. Mud comes on helmet via space between handle bar. 3. Does not look supersporty. Advantages- 1. Front and overall looks. 2. 4 cylinder = Sound + power 3. Brakes and comfort(egronomic)

Internationallly , all bikes in the 650 to 800 class except the ninja/Z 650 is better than CBR 650R, But indian standards considered, Triumph Trident 660, with a full cafe racer fairing and a windshield is much more value for money with sinilar performance ( 230 speedo indicated top speed).

Honestly speaking, based on indian spec bikes, and a really great bike for indian sport bike enthusiasts, But speaking from an International standpoint, the CBR 650R, is not at all the best, kind of towards the last part, comparing middleweights, the Street Triple/Daytona 765 RS, is at the top, Second is the MV Agusta F3,brutale 800 RR, Superveloce Third is the Aprillia RS/Tuono 660 Fourth is the KTM Scalpel ( 790 duke) Fifth is the Honda CBR/CB 650 R. Sixth is the Ninja / Z 650. But for India, CBR 650 R is honestly the best option for top end quality! Partly because none of the other options are available in india and/are on the same niche as the i4 cbr 650r. The brakes, suspension, isn't even as good as international specs, no brembos , only showas, not as much tech, not a TFT , and stuff like that makes it fifth.

If considering the case in India U see there are only 3 faired bikes in the list of bikes above MV Agusta F3(Price🤯🤯🤯🤯)(also Superveloce but i guess(not sure) unavailable in India) Aprillia Tuono 660(Not launched yet) CBR650R If anyone prefers faired bike((which Ayush Bhaiya preferred)then he has only one practical option CBR 650R Not considering Daytona(cause now it is just so outdated and will only be bought by Moto Enthusiasts who would ride it on Sundays and Enjoy it In my opinion it will be just foolish to buy daytona today for daily use)

Yes, it's the spiritual successor to the cbr 250r , it's a proper sport tourer, but the Bigger windshield is a must do mod along with a better exhaust ( stock sounds like a commuter lol).

It's actually more against Z900 than other 650s , trident offers similar performance (230kph top speed indicated), with a smooth inline 3 , more torque down low, much cheaper, it's literally the best now, if you can get a cafe fairing for it.

I suggest getting a ninja 300 first ( a true sport , with ergos similar to the cbr , not a sport tourer, not a supersport, somewhere in between.. For a year , you will not outgrow that motorcycle before 2-3 years, because it's too speed is pretty good for learning ( around 170-80?) And that's ok for track days too!
