Daytona can easily do 16-17kmpl on regular 91 octane petrol without having to restrict the throttle for good fuel efficiency. With 97 or 99 octane, that improves to 19-20kmpl. Former owner of a 2014 Daytona 675, these are the averages I achieved. Figures on long highway cruises were even better 22-23 on 91 octane, sticking to 120-130 max with few faster bursts. As for parts, factory/OEM parts will be available for a lot longer (2026 officially, parts may be warehoused beyond that) , although like all brands, you'll have to wait 1-3 months to delivery. Aftermarket parts availability is a totally different thing, and India is sketchy in that regard anyway, so poor justification for rejecting the Daytona - the only one with some rationale, is it's discontinued so it is valid for those interested in really long term ownership - that's those who want to keep it beyond 2026, I wish I had, but it was really uncomfortable in slow city traffic. And by the way, the CBR600/650 series are not called the Fireblade, only the 900 and 1000cc CBRs received the Fireblade nomenclature. The CBR600F series were named Hurricanes.

lol, the Aprilia RS 660 can beat the cbr 650R in the 659cc class all day. in terms had more Hp and 49 lbs of torque. alot of tech for a bike. i test rode both and the honda is boring and nothing exciting about it. it's a cheap bike with nothing special.

CBR cannot compete against Z900 and triple RS in initial. But it can come close in top end. It's made for top speeds 👍🏻
