Azaan is OP in SUMOS! - Paladins PTS Gameplay

Welcome back to another video! This is a stream highlight from my Twitch channel where I played with the new tank Azaan in sumos on the Paladins Absolution Update PTS! Sumos are a custom game mode where there are 4 tanks and 1 healer on both teams, no one is allowed to buy cauterize, and healers can't be killed until the 20 minute mark! Azaan is one of the strongest tanks in the game on release, and his power clearly shows in sumos as he's easily one of the top scoring tanks!
Yes, this footage was recorded before Azaan got some balance changes on the PTS. They likely wouldn't affect his performance in sumos too much, and there's no way I'm redoing a 75 minute sumo just because of some small changes.

Can someone please explain to me : Why, in the end of the game the opposite team Azaan has less credits than Andrew but still manage to beat him in every single category???

My only guess is that I took much more damage than him. We can't actually confirm this because it's the one stat that's not listed there, but champions do earn 20 credits for every 6,000 damage absorbed.

Im not sure. Maybe he got DCed in early game. If you get DCed, your credits will reset/

@POW3R Resilience doesn't affect torvalds ult since it isn't counted as a crowd control ability

Yes the sumo that fried his brain in the last episode Honestly I think the best sumo team would probably be Raum Yago Black Thor aka Azaan Khan Seris/Damba/Grohk Maybe Rei but then again maybe not

Crowd control effects are basically ways in which you can make it harder for an enemy to play the game. Stuns, cripples, knockbacks, slows, and blinds are examples of crowd control.

Is restraint rei allowed in Sumos? I don’t really know the Sumo rules but I feel like she would be kinda crazy. Just run a normal Extension build but with Restraint and basically cheat (since restraint isn’t Cauterize) plus you can charge your teams ults super fast so champs Like Ruckus can make a lot of damage happen
