How Does Rei Feel in SUMOS? - Paladins PTS Gameplay

Welcome back to another video! This is a stream highlight from my Twitch channel where I played Rei in a sumo match for the first time! She didn't seem like a powerful healer to me initially, so I wasn't sure how this sumo would go. As it turns out, she's got some decently strong area healing, and while she's no Grohk or Mal'Damba, she's still good enough to keep a team sustained in a sumo match!

Btw, drogoz can't 1 shot a yago with the bug using his ult. It doesn't technically insta kill, it just deals 9999 damage.

He can one shot anything. His ult does not deal 9999, it does 100% of target's Max HP - check his ability desc. on wiki if you don't believe it.

Rei is more of a buffer than a healer, (secondary healer) so she doesn't deal well with more than a single tank. But in a secondary tank comp with two tanks two healers and one damage she is incredibly good.

If only the yagorath bug was actually a buff then we could be lore accurate alas we live in a state were atlas is really the worst tank matchup to her and on of his abilities does not work on her in her standing form (comment for the lolz btw)((although atlas should really be able to apply a stun off his rewind))

I don't think so. Maeve's street justice is an EXECUTE, not DEAL DAMAGE, wich means it's just an instakill regardless of what their current HP is ( as long as it's below the execute threshold )

Andrew, do you think rei is a character that should be bought because the update came and I was undecided whether to get rei because right now my gold is seven thousand, do you think it is a good support and is it worth buying.

She's a fantastic support if you like true supports - that is, supports that bring more to the table than just healing and a bit of damage. She gives ultimate charge, reload speed, damage debuffs to the enemies, and a miniature deadzone if you build her right, which is just absurd. And she has even more utility with her envelop and ultimate that can save allies from death. She's not a superb solo healer (not terrible either, but you're not doing as much as Seris or Grohk for example), but she's a ton of fun to play and a great support. She's not braindead either, since there's a lot to manage if you want to get the most out of her. I highly recommend you try her out.
