He's proving he can be a good coach for the NFL every game let's go

Kinda miffed Gannon did the routine NFL "run out the clock" in the second half instead on continuing to play. The rushing game was solid so the score reflected that. Could backfire in the future.

Not if Gannon shuts down the offense in the second half like he did today. Starvin Marvin was again a no show in the second half. Fortunately the run game was working against a depleted Rams D.

@@Arjun---- Absolutely ignorant response. Pick any five QBs in the Hall of fame and count up their 4th quarter comebacks. It'll push into the 200s. One team going in the tank while the losing team is playing all out? That's not a recipe for disaster? Thus the legacy of 4th Quarter QB comebacks rages on. Note that few college teams take their foot of the accelerator the way the NFL does. But keep rooting for 25 handoffs up the middle by your team in the second half. Then come on here and rail against the coaches when they squander their lead and lose.

@@Sandviper9322 Problem is if we lose next week half the comments will be about firing the OC again and how Murray sucks. We got a lot of bandwagoner fans this year who have no patience. Our fan base is bipolar.
@Sandviper9322Күн бұрын
@JohnLoKie yeah I know this fan base is bi polar, but to be fair Petzing in week 1 deserved some criticism actually a fair amount. In reality this team wasn't supposed to win any of the first 3 games, I think lack of a preseason for the starters on both sides heavily influenced how week 1 went.
@JohnLoKieКүн бұрын
@@Sandviper9322 Yeah I agree about Petzing and he deserves praise for this game, even though they won't give it to him lol. I guess I have learned to look at things in the opposite way. Just something that life experience teaches you. So when something negative happens or the team loses I look for the positives. Like the fact that BUF may be the best team in the league right now especially after what they did to MIA. Only thing with this near perfect game we played is I wonder about the oline. They were great in run protection. But I mean we are lucky to have a QB that can make great things happen when the play breaks down. Well the plays broke down alot and I know the def deserves some credit for that. It was good that Kyler was mostly untouched but I just question how good the oline played in pass protection.

Trey Benson must go north south, not east west. He needs to get that big body moving forward. Use a scat back for wide runs.

Literally what my dad said during the game. I also felt uncertain about the oline. But I see optimism when people are overly negative and the small issues when people are wildly optimistic. Obviously it was a near perfect game overall and it was so satisfying and fun to watch. But our new fan base or bandwagoners are bipolar.
@JohnLoKie2 күн бұрын
@@AZS2K Nah his role is to block bc that is what he is best at. He can also run if we get an injury. Benson played well last week. You don't judge a rookie in two weeks! This is literally what people said about Kyler and Harrison last week. Can we just stop already?
