Very beautiful 100% Arizona. The color of the Bonnie goes well with the landscape. Nice . Enjoyed the video and RIDE SAFE!

That's 88, or The Apache Trail. 60 is south of there, running thru Superior, Miami, Claypool, and Globe, before 60 makes a northern venture toward Show Low. A nicer ride is up 89a, above Wickenburg, ironically off the 60, but on the west side of 17, It goes from an intro part o Twisties by Yarnell to more technical turns on Mingus Mountain, coming into Jerome, and eventually Sedona. From Prescott north, there's always an eastern shortcut to Interstate 17 to quickly go south back to the Phoenix area. Two-wheeled therapy!

Thanks for watching and commenting RJ. This is US 60 actually US60/77. You can see it on the map in the thumb nail and the map in the video. I've been riding this road for 25 years. Be happy to take you and show you somtime. I have a few other videos on AZ88 or Apache Trail to Tortilla Flat. 😁👍

@@azdesertdog Buzz! That's 88 that runs by Desert Flat. It goes from Apache Junction to Roosevelt Dam, on to 188, where If taken south, hooks up with 60 in Globe (Claypool?). 60 runs east thru Superior until you hit Globe, where you can take it south on 71 to take the back way into Tucson. I've got over 1/4 of a million miles logged professionally driving medical passengers from all over AZ...Phx area around most trips. 3 trips went to and from St Joe...2 blocks off the 60 up there, so let's just say I know my way around most of the state.🤔

Interesting that you put this video out, my friend just got into paddle boarding and wanted to go to Salt River to try his skills. I guess I might go along for the riding.

It would be a great trip for sure.

I did this ride in 2005 on a 2004 BMW K1200GT and it was awsome. Actually I made it from Los Angeles to Albuquerque in 18 hours flat. It had to have been a world record lol. The asphalt was brand spanking new back then..

It's a great road. In the fall I like to ride 191 and the SRC as a loop. I like to do it over a couple days. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for sharing. Though I live in central Oregon, I'm always looking for places to ride. I know Showlow, and love that area! A great ride, though it is a lot further away from you than US 60, but still worth the effort to go and do, is Utah Hwy 12, from Bryce Canyon, up to Torrey, I believe. It is one of the most amazing bits of scenery you'll encounter anywhere in the world. I've been all over the world, and that is still my favorite ride. It is amazing! Another summer is ahead, with lots of good riding, I pray, though with a 90mph ticket a few days ago on my R1150RS, its tempered my enthusiasm slightly, as 'enforcement ' goes in waves, and it is in a severe wave (towards bikers), right now, here in Oregon...and that's put the kibosh on my riding, at least until I get back on my bike, again. : ) Safe riding, brother!

I love Utah. Completely agree. Sorry to hear about your ticket and bike. I lived in Mass a long time ago. They saw tickets as a revenue stream.

It's not a bad area because it's so remote. With a little patience you can make some nice runs.

As a kid I used to stop in the gas station that used to be down in the bottom every time we traveled through there... Jerky, Dr. Pepper, and a bag of chips. Then we'd hike up the river to a "secret spot" and have lunch.

That sounds great. 20 or so years ago I used to ride with a group and we'd stop in that gas station. Awesome area.

Been in the Salt River Canyon hundreds of times at a pace much faster than this guy (of course he is trying to shoot a video, not race). Never have I been stopped by a cop. Just sayin.
