Hi, Im Tahir Register, owner of The BLACK Media, LLC stopping by to say thank you to all who've viewed and engaged, it means a lot. Many of your words are kind, thoughtful, positive, real, inspiring, and enjoyable, but many are not. Here at TheBLACKMedia we pride ourselves in being the only Black owned media publication that does not report on Gossip, Rumors, and Negativity. We provide SAFE SPACES for all, nonjudgmental, and we make sure to provide upscale imaging to show people of colour in the best light possible. While many of you may not agree, Azealia Banks is not "crazy", and she is not unworthy of forgiveness, love, support, and most of all understanding. Many things she's said in the past, she's apologized for, but at the core of reality Azealia exists on the same plane as you do, the basic human one in which we all give our opinions. Many of you "drag" Azealia for her brutal honest opinion, while leaving brutally honest opinions of her in comments sections all across social media. Irony is so ironic. One thing we'll never do here at TheBLACKMedia, and I say we, even though I'm the only one who operates this publication, because my #SOULdiers (supporters), stand by me when I say, we'd never silence a Woman for speaking her mind and telling her truth. It's okay for you NOT to agree with her truth, but the slander has to stop. We often say, we must come together, support one another more and stop the bad mouthing, but use social media to do the exact opposite. You don't have to bad mouth someone if you disagree with them, please keep that in mind. Also you don't have to comment on something you disagree with, much like what many of you are saying about Azealia. Being a hypocrite is what it's called by the way, simply stop. Thank you to all who've watched our exclusive, we have more coming, more original content and more positivity shaping and changing the way we see each other. Hopefully you'll join me on this journey and check yourself the next time you decide to "drag" someone because of a difference of opinion. I don't like pumpkin pie, I like sweet potato, however Im not going to stand over pumpkin pie yelling, screaming, calling it names, or disrespecting people who eat it because I think it's nasty....I'm simply not going to eat the pumpkin pie, and indulge in some amazing Momma made sweet potato pie. If Azealia...or anyone else we interview is not of your liking...then don't eat it. Be real, NOT rude. Thanks, Tahir Register owner of The BLACK Media, LLC www.TheBLACKMedia.org P.S I've Put comment filters a few days ago, anyone with negative, nasty language, will automatically be flagged and deleted. I was serious, TheBLACKMedia is NOT for the common social media behavior, we will respect each other and glow up. You can give your disagreement without bashing, dragging, name calling, and a loooottt of death threats. Not here, not ever.!

Thank You Tahir for your honesty and candor. We need more people like you and platforms like TheBLACKMedia.org to share ideas and engage with one another in a progress and Productive way. Many people in our community have been trained to believe that controversy should be met with contempt but the truth is we DON'T have to agree in order to have a dialogue with one another. Azealia Banks is a talented artist who happens to have strong opinions about her art, the culture and the inner workings of the music industry and I really appreciate you providing a safe space for her to share her ideas and point of view. #SALUTE

Bitta swT im not saying shes right all the time im just saying i respect the fact shes not afraid to speak her mind even if she might be wrong. Its not everything taylor swift believes u will agree with so she only says things she knows she wont get attacked for. I respect people who speak their mind especially celebrities who show us their real beliefs and not say things to keep an image eg kanye west and azealia banks

Bitta swT the day you come out and post everything you think about and believe on social media and you dont get called unstable or crazy is the day I'll agree with you. Truth is we all crazy me you azealia banks cardi B and everyone else. The only difference is only very few people show their crazy. Ps everyone is wrong sometimes she might have attacked black people in the past but clearly her views have changed why hold on to her past

Bitta swT lmaoo sophistication is not an asset and im smart as hell. You sorta sound like a person who supports people being fake rather than real. And the sorta person who gives an image of yourself rather than express your true opinion out of fear of what people might say. Clearly we are different but I'd rather make friends with someone who says everything on their mind than someone who holds back cause that way i know who im dealing with. Thats why i prefer Rihannas personality over Beyonce's. But anyhow what do i know right? Im not as sophisticated as you are. Ps subscribe to my youtube, videos dropping soon there you get to see the unsophisticated unintelligent girl speak her mind without holding back 😊

right? and the craziest thing is we all are aware in 2018 of fake news and how algorithms and targeted ads guide our attention. yet somehow we can't make the connection that culture is also not immune that there are special interests in making sure that the public consumes a certain images at the expense of a 3-dimensional complex person. ppl are mad cos azealia is defiant about embracing her full complexity, that's why she is capable of fucking up constantly in public yet making amends and growing. what more could you want from your artists??! most people want idols they can project their anxieties on sadly

@lolasmith85777 жыл бұрын
I read what you said. obviously. That was why i replied. When you say someone is "absolutely right", i can't assume you mean otherwise. She talks about her conflict with skai jackson and her other antecedents as her being "set up". That is absolving her of responsibility. "she is understanding her consequences", but how many things has she apologized for? She says she is made out to be a villain. That is making herself a victim in situations where SHE victimized others. I know you "said what you said". It doesn't make you right. And continuing to stand by your point when you are dead wrong reveals what connects you to azealia.

This was a great interview. Thank You B.L.A.C.K Media. Damn it broke my heart to hear her story about that infamous party and RZA. You can see that she’s telling the truth and she’s open and so hurt. That really got to My Heart. XX

No Thank you!! Thank you for watching we give all a platform to truly be truthful and honest, we on our Oprah-ish here at TheBLACKMedia, it broke our hearts too, that's me speaking when I say my first instinct would be to defend...it was hard to sit there and see. Bless you stay tuned.

Jesus Lopez She needs more fans if she’s gonna succeed, there’s a reason why Cardi , Beyoncé, & Rihanna are where they are they made sure to be likable enough to build a fan base that can get them on top of the charts, Grammy noms etc. People only root for the success of people they like.
@13blanket7 жыл бұрын
She's never going to be basic and generic like BEYONCÉ (who is truly one of the worst) and Rihanna, so she'll always be less successful. But as long as she keeps going and makes music that is genuinely good and rhythmic, she'll be okay. As long as she doesn't go all financially retarded and end up like Dionne Warwick filing bankruptcy and shit, she'll be settled. I like to think that she's aware enough to know that.

Thank you so much, TheBLACKMedia is a one stop run completely ran by, Tahir Register...me, so this comment means so much to me, you have no idea, this was literally right after she got off stage, nothing but non-stop recording, running, figuring everything out on the fly so I'm glad you enjoyed it. It's the first time I've seen Azealia Banks in allll of who she is, and not just small parts the media often shows. Im so glad you enjoyed the colour grading, angles, and transitions it means a lot!!! I've never edited an almost 30 min video like this before, so for a first time, I'm proud you enjoyed it!

She is winning. People who know her music, know. She might not have the level of mainstream success her talent deserves, but that is because she is a woman who has made truthful choices. She does music that isn't typical or mainstream, it's for people who genuinely appreciate musical artistry. Its not for casual listeners or for radioplay. She creates real music for aficionados. And she is critically acclaimed by people who know music. That's more important and more honorable and more legit than chasing fame and fortune. Getting real respect. That's winning. By her own standards and the standards of people who appreciate real art. What would winning look like to you? Her welling out stadiums with pop-infused basic lyrics and some european dance dj providing basic beats? Crossover to a white audience? Which she sort of has becausr her music reclaims house ad yhe black invention it is, but manh white people enjoy it. Mainly becausr house is never really fronted by an artist so it employs many amazing black talents to create, who aren't seen. Think of the black singers on house tracks.they are able to create music without having to front bands and deal witb the racism that brings. It makes ehites comfortable they dont have to engage with the artist behind the music. With Azealea, she does front it and look: they can't cope. What i want for her is to be paid properly and accordingly so she had enough wealth to keep bringing out incredible music and tour it. Without having to rely on the benevolence of white gatekeepets who cry every time whiteness is criticised. But for now, can we accept that she IS winning, and that just because white people try to drag her down, doesn't mean she is not enough as she is.

People don't always understand or see a cry for help. They are so quick to go against someone without realizing what is happening. Everyone did laugh at her and just added this to a list of antics they felt were already bizzare and crazy. AB makes a lot of sense with what she says, and someone may not like her delivery because they can't understand it or don't like the fact that she points it out. That is a personal problem lol. Lastly, I absolutely get what she means when she says Cardi B is "not that girl". She is speaking of talent. AB actually has more talents than Nicki and Remy ma....she can do more and does it well.
