I vividly remember listening to this the day sheepy uploaded it almost 4 years ago. I was in my car, parked on a hill in the woods near my house, playing it through the radio and staring up through the open sunroof at the stars. It reminded me of Cloud Atlas when they were in their future lives... It's very cybernetic futuristic war style music intertwined with classical narration. I see a vast wasteland as two commanding armies charge at each other and collide into a destructive maelstrom. 2:20 on when it starts going into the "I - I - I - I - I" little bits. It's about the one who sacrifices their humanity for the sake of the war. He or She is faced with a decision to make. Obviously the choice is for what they believe in, and go into the climactic finale. The final minute of the song really tied it together for me. The story was told, and war was over, and rain poured down on the bodies of loved ones, brothers that fought side by side, and had to watch their blood flow down into a river... Only one stands to tell this story. Was Victory Worth It?
