Feel you! My mom makes fun of me when I beatbox and my school mates think I'm autistic. My mom once heard me when I practiced my bmg snare, came in my room, tried to make fun of me by imitating me and actually made a pretty decent bmg. It took me so long to figure that shit out and she just had it, first try, without even knowing what the word "beatbox" means

not true, besides anatomical things, like not being able to curl your tongue or having a naturally hollow or large throat, literally any beatbox sound can be achieved by anyone with practice.. the textures of the sounds will depend on the person but the core sound can be done by anyone who is anatomically able

for me i learnt click roll first, and yes i breath in to vibrate my tongue i dont know if that’s the same as everyone else but works for me. It took me less than 20 mins
