It feels weird seeing that this reached 1 year when I first came across it not too long ago. Keralis reminds me of Shiro from BNA a bit. He became mixed with the DNA of all beastman and I liked the way that worked out in the storyline/lore of the anime. That said, I have high hopes for Keralis' story in AAO. Also I love the look xB gave X when Keralis talked about the other kid in the lab. Was that the first xB learned of X being there? Finally, I am curious as to how X and Keralis' relationship came about. It doesn't appear as though they met at the lab, so my question is; did Keralis intentionally befriend X, or was it a coincidence they met again?

After rewatching this a ton, I now wonder, wasn’t dream in the same lab as X? Did a scientist also protect dream, or was he just not there at the time? If he was, why didn’t Keralis get his appearance and age?

I believe I know the answer. he says "all the hybrids they had before" and later is shown with Dream's wings in the flashback, and also the fact that they were only worried about one child. To me, this all points to X being the only one there at the time, but Dream had been there before.
