I chose this pile because I saw the Dragonfly flying down towards Earth, like a promise come true from Universe, but when you started to read the cards I realised you saw more than I did. It's all true, I have been trapped in a whole, long life of being a bullied outsider, even from family, some from malice, some from ignorance, and I had just decided to bury the past from childhood up to this very moment, make peace with it, lay a wreath of flowers on it and just be the person I REALLY am and not what other people have decided I should be. And as an answer also to both your reading and my decision I just got the deck "Love Who You Are", and as I take out the book there's a poem by the creator, Angi Sullins, called Becoming Her. It's all about how we try to fill the roll other people create for us instead of embracing who we truly are, but it can be difficult being, or finding, who you are when you constantly get bullied for expressing your true self and forced to "behave" in a way others has decided you should. I'm freaking 65 and have struggled a whole life with it, only to just recently finding out I'm on the autistic spectrum!! All I want nowadays is my very own home with a garden, forest, a lake, a vacation that will last the rest of my life, and enough money to never ever need to rub two coins together again, but to be able to spoil myself if I want to! And help others too, giving if I can, make some dream for someone else come true, spread the good will. Go vegan, grow my own food, have a meadow for a lawn, filled with bees, butterflies and bumblebees! Have fairies living at the bottom of the garden. Be visited by forest dwellers. I've had both my grown son and daughter burn all my tarot cards, throw away my Tibetan Bells(I'm a Feng Shui Practitioner,) smash a priceless hand painted Buddah Hoti etc...) all done because they said I was evil and from the devil!! @@theresashetler I'm so sorry for this loss of yours!! I know it must hurt like hell itself, because I've been there not so long ago, but at least it wasn't my kids (brats?) doing it just because I didn't fit into a pattern of theirs. That must really be like salt in an open wound! It can never be replaced, and it's not about the THINGS you loose, but the memories, the feeling when you touch them, how happy you were when you found them. I'm so very sorry for you for that! We can never go back and retrieve the things lost, that's the bitter thing of it, but we must learn to live with the loss. Tarot decks can maybe be replaced to a certain point, but not if they were old and out of stock, and it's weird to get a new deck in place of another, when the first deck was so perfect for your hands. What I have learned just recently is that for my own sake I have to put the loss behind me, for the very reason that I can never ever replace what was stolen, destroyed. I must lay my loss to rest, like a funeral, with flowers and all, so it doesn't keep haunting me like a freaking ghost. Before I know it there the loss stand and stare with weeping eyes at me, giving me a depression again and again. It's like loosing a limb, being amputated from my things, like I am a burnt out ruin, gutted and blackened. But I feel a bit stronger now after burying not only the blasted childhood, growing up, working life, and whatever little nastinesses my family did me, right up to the recent loss of most of my things. We'll see if it works in the long run, I will certainly not let myself slip back to the weepy, depressed stage again, it's so exhausting!! My Twin Flame was brought back into My life about 5 years ago Sparking a Major Spiritual Awakening and shaking me awake to the fact that My 48 year marriage was done and had been for quite a few years.... I've always known that My Aries husband was hard work and that I gave a lot more of the relationship that he ever did...
