The goal of this Wild Hearthstone Showdown in the Badlands Excavate Warlock OTK combo deck is to use The Azerite Snake combined with Saloon Brewmaster! We do this by Excavating four times. Then, we play Brann, Azerite Snake, and Saloon Brewmaster to replay the Snake for the OTK! Super fun meme deck! Good luck!

would be fine if it wasn't 4 mana and stealing 10, as a craftable legendary at 9/10 cost healthsteal would be fine as a mechanic. All excavate legendary treasures are 4 mana 5/5s though, but if it stole 5 health instead you'd have to play it 6 times to kill a 30 hp hero, which makes armour and renethal good against it. Might be a bit underpowered then compared to other tier 4s (you still have to excavate 4 times, which is half of your excavate cards if you don't brew them or reverberate), but should be a sweetspot to the healthsteal that doesn't feel horrid to play against, but still good enough for warlocks to want to play the deck. Even if they removed the healthsteal and changed it to "Lifesteal deal 10 damage to the enemy hero" it would still feel very uninteractive to play against when they run brewmasters to combo it.

I guarantee you that it wasn’t planned. Demon Hunter was a disaster and not in a good way. Many people came back to hearthstone because of DH launch. The promptly left and never came back after a few hours of broken DH. The snake isn’t spicy enough to elicit even a little drama to this. It’s just plain frustrating. So sadly, this is just another blizzard L.

Even if 100% left in case of DH which isn't true, basically the same people who came back were already not playing so it didn't made much difference. The powercreep formula works to sell packs since many years ago, Grand Tournament was a total failure because they didn't made broken cards. People want to win ASAP that's what matters.

The real problem isn't the pyroblast itself, but the fact that you cannot heal its damage or use armour against it.

Lifestealing and armour-piercing too. Not only kills your opponent, but saves your life too if you're at the losing end and can counter high-armour decks.

The lag is not from the snake but the 4th excavate animation itself. You always get lag on your 4th excavate as well as when playing a legendary treasure. Lag lasts around 5-7 seconds

While I agree with Nerfing snake for the ridiculous 20 health swing, I’m afraid they are going to kill the card, deck and class along with it. I think they need to nerf/fix some other cards as well included in ridiculous decks like Big Rogue or Paladin. By turn 3-4-5 they can have some ridiculous pressure and boards. I think people just jump to too many conclusions when they see a new strong card or mechanic. Nerf Snake yes, but I hope they won’t kill the deck. I want to play many classes INCLUDING Warlock, not just ignore it like I did for the past year. Titans showed a step forward and I hope this expansion will as well.

Anyone else notice it actually steals the health MAXIMUM from the opponent? Just a single use leaves them with a max health of 20 (unless they're playing Renathal or a Death Knight with health boost cards). Should still bypass Ice Block because even if it does trigger, they're still left with zero health maximum.

the funny thing is like every time. people cry, eople nerf something what he doesnt need and kill a card. Today was so extrem much counter for the snake in tehe meta that he didnt need a nerf.Its strong but also decks can beat it. And many counter decks exist for it. 5+ when i count correct. A shaman deck, a paladin deck, a priest deck, for specific to counter the snake. And when you have a really fast deck its counter also the snake.

And you know why people cry? because most people play armor builds and now they must face a counter. Also they cry because they dont wish o change them self. (ok a little nerf must be the snake. But maybe only +1 mana or something). Not to forgett. Only when people cry that doesnt mean thats correct to make it. because you know you only heared the loudest cry but not the people they are ok with it. because cry is loud a "card is ok" not. When from 1k people 5 people cry (only example) you hear the 5 people more as the 995 that not cry.
