Blizzard census said that their are more Alliance players than Horde, you can't argue with the facts. Just accept that you lost because Alliance didn't vote as much, or that some alliance voted for the horde bike.

Well... The alliance chopper never really looked like something that belonged with the alliance anyway, contrary to the horde chopper which fit perfectly... The Alliance chopper just looked kind of cheap and the tank treads looked out of place. That and the real metal finish just doesn't fit the games aesthetic, where again the horde choppers paint job made it fit perfectly... hope the alliance will get something proper in the future though.

This was actually pretty enjoyable. Next suggestion for a show: Azeroth by Design. Two teams made up of cosplayers, fashion designers and artists from Blizzard work on ten World of Warcraft player class inspired design challenges to create the next line of Transmog gear for a future patch in Warlords. Players vote every week for their favorite outfits and the winner is decided by the most winning entires. The winning teams designs will be added in game as special Transmog gear.

This was ff'd up from the start, metzen who is the biggest horde guy going is on the ally team, was no limit on how many times you could vote and was not tied to the blizzard websites so you could only vote once. Nearly every expantion and patch is horde slanted and ally get dumped on constantly. So who did we expect to win exactly.

Neither is easier or harder than the other to create they are both unique factions, you could argue that for the Alliance bike all they needed to do was use some blue and gold and slap some metal on it. All it comes down to is the Horde bike had a better designer than the Alliance bike, not that "Horde has more players" or "Blizzard prefers Horde".

TBH both bikes weren't as good as they should have been... For instance, the Horde bike could have been made to look worn out, with something liike rust on the spiukes, or old blood, and the alliance one was planned well, but the colorwork just.... Did not happen as it should have.Also, the Horde one really DID look a bit more Horde-ish....

why not, it was pretty obvious the horde bike looked like a Horde bike, if you changed the paintjob and even removed the horde badge it would look like a horde bike. The alliance one on the other hand only had a bit of blue and the shield on the front to imply it was alliance, otherwise the only faction it may have looked part of is the Nerubians, tho if the WoW worms have an alliance, it may fit that.

I dunno... I play alliance and when I had a conversation with my (alli) guild about the bikes like 5/6 of them voted for the horde bike. Many other alli players I've observed voted horde as well because it's just the cooler of the two. I think what it really comes down to is that the guys that worked on the horde bike did a better job. Not many players would want to ride that alli bike in game... It was a nice try, but did not represent the alliance well.

I didn't vote (mostly because I didn't care that much). I play both alliance and horde about equally (I may have more horde characters, and I play them more than my allies, but I like both sides), But just by aesthetic value, I like the horde bike a lot more than the alliance bike, and would have voted for it regardless of faction mentality or anything alike. The alliance bike looks ridiculous to me, while the horde bike looks amazing. that Is just my opinion based on aesthetics. the chances of the Alliance bike also being put into the game as well aren't as farfetched as some people might believe. Blizzard may eventually also add the Alliance bike, but it will most likely not be at launch. if anything it will probably be released as a part of a future patch, or as a special offer in the store, available for a limited time. Blizzard does things like that often. The only thing I'm worried about is whether the Horde bike will a) be faction only, b) only be purchaseable in the store, or c) be coded into patch 6.0 and basically be unlocked for everyone that upgrades their accounts to WoD. Looking forward to expansion 6, even though it's gotten a little boring around Azeroth since the end of Patch 5.4. I mean, you can only run around the timeless isle or beat up Garrosh so much (especially with raid lockouts.) The horde won because that's what the fans wanted, I doubt it was because of who was on which side, how much louder/more vocal one side was over the other, or how old/casual the players on one side were. The fans chose the Horde bike, and that's what we're getting. Don't complain (especially if you didn't vote in the first place). I was fine with whichever, since I only use a specific group of my mounts anyways, so this "special mount" will most likely collect dust in my collection, if I can even get it. I much prefer mounts that can both run and fly, and can be used anywhere (Considering a number of mounts that can't be used on the timeless isle because of the flight lock.)

Majed Sammour You know nothing about playerbase. Horde is way more populated just take a look at servers. Only high populated alliance server is Outland, alliance is outnumbered by very big numbers on other servers. In stormscale its 1 alliance to 20 horde

Yes, it really fits the whole insectoid look of the Alliance... /endsarcasm Give me a break. I envisioned better for both bikes. I'd have gone for a more ambitious tusks of manaroth vision for the horde bike, as well as using longer, fatter chains leading to the handlebars. Overall the design was pretty predictable though. The Alliance bike... Sheesh. That thing doesn't look like Alliance anything. The front was incrediby bland, the back was okay, but stops at okay. I think the alliance bike would have been 10x better if they had put wheels on it instead. It was built with an "off road forward charge" characteristic which is totally wrong. The alliance is about a steady, constructed, march. One that sticks to the rule books and to the roads. They could have made it so much more different if they hadn't given it treads. It makes the alliance bike seem a total redundant mess. Especially considering the front fender (Swords) just looks like a cheaper version of the horde manorroth tusks. A giant shield or maybe a mechanical cog on the front fenders would have looked better. Not enough blue, too much of a nerubian look, pointless treads and too boring. I won't be upset that it's not in game, because honestly, i don't care for it atall.

I was thinking that. It looks gorgeous but very flat to the ground, as if it's just sort of levitating at the back there. A bit of hight would have shown off the body work beautifully.

Black_Knight I think the tank treads suit the horde bike though. On the alliance bike they a bit too 'flat'. In my opinion it makes the bike look flat and almost 'squashed' to the ground. As for the rest of the bike, I think it looks pretty hot.

Funny how the Horde bike was a horribly ugly, plastic looking toys-R-us tricycle and we all still new it would win from episode one.. This was more of an experiment on fanboydom than anything. Yes, you could have put a turd on a barbeque and dubbed it "for the horde" and it would still beat out that beautiful alliance bike.

Competition went at a tense level and the Horde came out on top. I'm impressed, though, because the Paul Jr. team designing the Alliance bike was consisted of three guys, while Horde's was two. Also, I really want to listen to that metal music in the background outside the AC episodes. They're just so much fun to listen to. :-)

There are 2 Reasons Horde won. 1.) People view horde as "Bad Ass", not the bike just the faction. and somehow them liking it makes them look cool. People amuse that its good vs evil. Its not, at all, its Organized vs. Chaos. 2.) People were voting for horde to look cool, Very Few voted on which looks cooler, Which was what the voting was about, our opinions on the bikes. I'm a Horde guy, tho I gotta say it was a ''kind of'' unfair competition. I mean, lets all agree on one fact : trying to spot on the horde style is way easier than the alliance one. You can express brutality visually on a bike, but that's hard to express chivalry the same way. It looked more ''instect'' like. But they did a good job, it was a nice competition. Cant wait to see the mount in-game!

This actually doesn't surprise me one bit. I am Alliance and even though I voted Alliance to be faithful, I believe the Alliance bike was lacking in something, although I can't put my finger on what. The Horde bike had more presence. And it may have just been that it was recorded and not close up, but I thought they both sounded a bit pathetic. That being said, I have a feeling they're going to put both bikes in anyway. Think about it: how would Alliance players get a hold of a Horde bike? And how much of a traitor would they look like riding around on one? Plus, I'm a big kid...I don't ride trikes :) If they don't add it right away (if they haven't already animated both to go in the game) Alliance players will make such a fuss that later on they'll have no choice. Either way, I think they both could have used a bit more oomph, if you get what I'm saying.
