I learn a lot by Arizona wow never would have thought a giant lake was in Northern Arizona and it help cut the grand canyon over 5million years.

Really fascinating talk. One question I have is, is it possible that the lake was generally relatively shallow, but there were a bunch of deep maar craters within it that formed low spots, and that those deep basins within the larger, mostly shallow lake were the primary habitat for those “Baikal” ostracods (and obviously the water was all connected, so you could then get dead ostracods deposited anywhere in it)? Or were the maars completely infilled by the time the lake existed at these levels? PS instead of switching between Google Earth and the geological map over and over, you can just add the geological map as an overlay with 50% transparency right in Google Earth.

I love you are coming around to catastrophism! But how do you explain the formations in monument valley? Or the Colorado & Fry Canyon around Hanksville? There must have been a lake at 8000+ feet to form Bryce Canyon and Zion! Zion was clearly hit by a wall of fast moving water.

Is this possibly how Monument Valley was created as well?? Interesting area is Muley Point East, Utah. POV channel found Megalithic blocks saying there may be hundreds, even thousands. Then Google Earth altered the satellite images to blur out the impossible geometry. And the most intriguing is there is a sealant in the straight line cracks that stop water from penetrating. Giant Blocks cover the square plateau near cedar point. Was this done in the far past to prepare for the water event? I'll be presenting videos of the evidence on my channel.

Take a trip out to the Arizona desert. You can actually see the ancient water lines. But a person gots to know what to look for.

Why are you answering questions? Your reproduction of the canyon was good... But there's nothing on this Earth that is a million years old... The Grand Canyon is roughly 4500 years old. And you were right. It was carved out by a lake, but the sediments were laid down by the global flood. As you will find the same layers all over the world.

True, if the canyon took millions of years the get carved out you would see diverse plants life up and down the walls.
