I love Azdaha so much. Both of his different phase themes are so amazing. His backstory is just so cool and interesting as well, but I also feel so bad for Zhongli. Azdaha was one of Zhongli’s close friends, once a small elemental being unearthed from bedrock turned into an enormous and majestic dragon, now blinded and suffering from the relentless erosion of time, and Zhongli was forced to fight against his friend because of that. Fighting Azdaha as a weekly boss feels like if you were fighting against a literal living and breathing mountain, he’s super tough and well-deserving of being a weekly boss. Azdaha’s boss theme sounds loud and thunderous, tough as a boulder, this may just be me but the theme also sounds oddly somber in some parts (one detail of Azdaha’s theme I really like is that apparently the lyrics are in ancient Chinese). If there were a list of video game bosses that deserved the Vetrom treatment for their theme, Azdaha would definitely be on that list without a doubt.

I have good memories of fighting this boss, like when I went online with other people just to try something different. Halfway in everyone else had already died, and I didn't realize at first that if you die in a boss fight you can revive online. So I was stuck with my max hp Zhongli dealing very little damage, but the boss couldn't kill me easy as I had just over a hundred chicken burgers. I asked the other people if we should just reset or if I should keep going, they told me to continue and cheered me on. I ate some attack-boosting food and fought for the next 8 minutes or so with the dragon, when the dragon finally fell we all cheered and shared in the meh rewards.

It happened something similar to me, but I was with Noelle instead of Zhongli. Me and my friends tried to fight it day 1 and only I survived until the very end. The others were laughing during the whole fight and we had so much fun

I was a f2p qiqi and I constantly lost 99% of my hp and regained it back in less than a second. It was the literal definition of anxiety and I killed azhdaha in over 20 minutes. My teammates just afked and did whatever lmao

By far the best soundtrack Mihoyo came up with in a boss fight! Everything sounds epic about it from Azdaha's HP, dialogue to his attacks and roars! Perfect song for the strongest archon's pet.

The fact that Morax has defeated countless powerful gods in the archon war. What do we know about the other archons strength? Well, Venti admitted being the weakest and Ei is strong but we haven't been told much about her role in the archon war

@@KamisatoElias True. By the way, you seem to know quite a bit in the lore. Although, to be fair, miHoYo just put more lore into Rex Lapis more than the others. So, really i think they might be biased since he's pretty much the god of the in-game China.🤣 I met one guy who said that Ei is far stronger than Rex Lapis simply because she was born to look like a human, while Rex was born a dragon, which is an "animal", and that since humans are superior to animals, Ei is superior to Rex.

The theme went from "sorta monster hunter, cool" to "HOLY SH*T SOMEONE PUT THIS OVER A FATALIS RUN". I dunno why, but seeing a massive black dragon get its butt kicked to such an epic theme would look cool. Then again the boss itself is also a big dragon- so..

I remember when i eas the only alive with zhongli in coop and i told my team to not leave, and after 10 minutes of solo-ing azhdaha, i did it, and screamed *MY NAME IS MORAX, GOD OF GEO AND LIYUE, AND I WILL HAVE ORDER CAUSE YOU MADE ME GO INSANE AND HUNGRY" so then i take the rewards and eat a sandwich :D

I don't think square has the best boss music in rpg history but their old stuff and ff xiv ost are pretty up there. 13 has some really good and then it falls off. Xv didn't feel as much. Kh3 dropped the ball a bit too. I feel atelier has good ost. Falcom has good ost as well personally anyways haha
