I think a mildy interesting case of a removed addon is Legion's Cold Dirt. Gutted with Legion's rework, it reduced the fatigue duration after ending Feral Frenzy. Since the base fatigue time was reduced by even more than what the addon did, it makes sense why it would be replaced with BFFs But why replace it instead of just changing the effects? Well, there's a bit of a theory out there that, considering the effect of the addon, Legion being a group of rebellious teenagers, and the rather... strange looking icon for dirt, some believe the addon might have originally been a pile of cocaine, which was hastily adjusted because it would affect the game's rating in certain countries.

Excellent video, I love how you took on a different pace of storytelling for Billy lol. I'm glad he'll become a common sight to see in trials again. However, it's still a shame that Lightburn was removed. Yes, it was quite strong, but it was cool that players could discover this unique method of counterplay for certain killers on their own and could change their strategy accordingly. It just added to the experience, I mean. I still understand the removal though.

Trust me you’ll probably still will see less Billy’s he’s still a very difficult killer to learn but is the hardest i should say even with his buffs youll rarely get him unless its billys that know how to play him

I think they could have reworked Wraith's light burn so that instead of stunning him fully it would just pull him out of cloak and hinder him for a short moment, making it very situational. As for other lightburn interactions on other killers, they should have all stayed, especially nurse's, with the exception of hag as now you get an extra perk slot as hag (Many would run Franklin's Demise to keep their traps up)

Ngl, but I’m still disappointed Lightburn was removed and all the other interactions certain killers had with flashlights. Made the game have more depth to it and most importantly, it made Wraith actually fun to play against.

@@StopWhiningManguideCultists Personally I think it wasn’t as bad as some people make it out to be. Like yeah, it was annoying to be Lightburned out of cloak. However, there were definitely ways to avoid it such as zigzagging and/or getting up in the survivors face. Strategies like the ones mentioned definitely increased your chances of avoiding Lightburn. The only time Lightburn became OP was when a 4 man SWF with flashlights abused it, but lobbies like that could simply be dodged. Also, even if they do switch at the last second, scenarios like those weren’t common enough to be an everyday occurrence. So, conclusion? While Lightburn was annoying, I’d say that it wasn’t _that_ bad and possibly even a necessary evil due to it basically being the main way to counter Wraith.

Spirit's 'Prayer Beads' addon might've been decommissioned because the Survivors already had an addon of the same name. Prayer Beads, for those who don't know, is an addon for Keys which gives Survivors an extra 15 seconds of use.

Much as I like forward to Billy rework, it is a bit of a bit of a shame a lot of his add ons like Mothers helpers or the brick are being changed completely. The new ones sound (though I haven’t read the descriptions yet so maybe I’m wrong) more on the trapper side of being tool add ons than like emotional stuff to drive him. At the same time though, I kinda love his new emphasis on his chainsaw with him being like “screw my past, the power of god and chainsaws on my side” like in universe hes putting his past behind him… sorta. So I’m kinda ok with it.😅

The add-ons are disappointing for the rework. The only good add-ons are going to be the Iridescent Engraving, Spiked and Dads boots, and the one Death Engravings is turning into [which will make overdrive last longer]. Other than that the rest of the add-ons are just plain bad, or a few being mediocre, especially after they are nerfing the effect of the Low Kickback Chans to if I am correct under half of the current effect it has, making it barely better than its brown varient. They definitely should not have reworked all the add-ons, I would have liked to see the extra charge speed when getting pallet stunned or blinded that some add-ons had.

Given Billy's personality I think tools and *Tinkering* make sense. He lacks emotional attatchment to most things and is intelligent. Billy is one of the killers I pity, regardless of if he's fictional. Poor Billy.

I'm really wondering what the upcoming killer "tweaks" they are doing to the killers in March. Because huntress and Demogorgon are arguably the most balanced killers in the game. And then im sure clown and doctor are getting buffs of some sort. Maybe its add ons being base kit? And that's all it is for the killer tweaks?

Father's glasses were removed because they were glitched to the point it didn't work. Instead of making blood pools bright red, it made them pure black. That's why they were removed.

I remember using Fathers glasses and it was actually good. It prevented me from losing track on survivors and it stacked with bloodhound. It was actually the only time i used bloodhound 🤷🏻‍♂️ pretty useless now.

7:17 The effect of Father's glasses was actually a good one but also destroyed some counter play to new spirit players because it pinged the survivors exact location each time it dropped letting you know exactly where the survivor was when it dripped. I think it was removed because it made it so there was no need for the skill expression that made it pointless. Still though, I kind of wish it remained as it was like an accessibility option for those hearing impaired.

Ill be honest, im so over them removing the addon visuals themselves, like effects whatever rework them. But having to constantly relearn addon names on top of the constant new killers we get is just exhausting. Its extra wasted time the devs don't need to do, outside of special cases like Cold Dirt possibly looking like cocaine. They did it AGAIN with billy now like, WHY? We absolutely could've just kept Doom Engravings as a Pink Rarity.

If you play hag and you're carrying somebody, then you swing at someone, you cannot move, and you're instantly Frozen on the spot For Bubba, his tokens counter sometimes gets broken. You can't tell how many tokens you have, nor does it show you if they're recharging either. There are some other more minor bugs, from animations not working to literal parks not doing what they intended Wack doesn't work with walls, which it says it does.
