I am Gambian, but one thing that makes me very happy and positive about Kenya is your ability to scrutinize your leadership. Put your president before cameras and asked by able journalists. Unlike my country, they will list the questions that you are allowed to ask the president. You can ask follow up questions with the Gambian president, because we have a crooked system and a bull as a president. In the Gambia, we have no journalists, but radio station DJs who became "Join The List" - oh, sorry, journalists overnight. I'm not making this up. Bravo Kenya. I think had one point the president is very right the finance bill is made by the committee of experts,passed in parliament and signed by the president. The bill has not been signed which is the role of the president.where did the president go wrong. In my opinion the senate failed us by passing it instead sending back to the committee of experts to amend before passing it. The president plays a role to head the executive.

The solution of Kenyan debt is to begin reviving of industries/factories like Mumias, kikomi etc, while setting up new processing industries esp in Rural areas based on what they produce hence employing more youths and hence more revenue will be raised. Overtaxing is not the long term solution.
