Awesome video, just switched up my mono blue spirits to azorious with a similar list to yours. Playing with it for the first time this week, seeing you play a few of the expected matchups is a big help!

Thanks, glad to have some time and energy for Magic again! 🥳

I would move the overlay, because not seeing the stack is dizzying.

Noted, that part of Arena is a lot less fun to do than MTGO. 😅

Yeah, I was about to ping Dre in the Discord about the same thing too haha Even maybe just dropping the overlay down (like cutting out the decklist, maybe have it show up as a pop-up that people can click off?) would be enough to show the stack. Solid work as always!

s it possible to get full side deck guide up to date? having a hard time with the side deck with this one

At 15:10 you using rattle chains is way OP for vein ripper you should have used spell pierce.
@SpiritSquadMTG6 ай бұрын
They had untapped mana, Spell Pierce wouldn't have done anything. Holding it as potential Copter discard fodder is a more productive use of that Pierce.

How do Spirits beat Rakdos vampires?
@SpiritSquadMTG6 ай бұрын
Vampires actually isn't that bad! You do normal gameplay stuff like you would against Rakdos like Wedding Announcement and holding Rattlechains vs. removals, and Katilda just so happens to OCV the matchup so we're playing more than one of her in the 75 now.

@@SpiritSquadMTG What cards do you board out in round 2 of BO3?
@SpiritSquadMTG6 ай бұрын
Not a fan of keeping in Supreme Phantom. Just like when you're playing vs. Midrange or UW Control.
@reviewchan98067 ай бұрын
I think the deck is lacking card advantage. There's got to be something else out there that's instant speed so you can at least hold up your counter magic too
@SpiritSquadMTG7 ай бұрын
It's sneaky about it. You have the Weddings as the best source of advantage when you need it. But also Rattlechains and Queller provide advantage, just not in the same way a Memory Deluge does.
@reviewchan98067 ай бұрын
@@SpiritSquadMTG you really shouldn't be thinking about advantage like that
@Gemasted7 ай бұрын
@@reviewchan9806that's how the deck works, it would slow down the deck too much if you had actual draw spells
@refuse2lose19856 ай бұрын
@@reviewchan9806He's right though, ypu know? You both have 5 cards, they play a card, you queller, thats +1. They have 4, you have 5. Its not hard advantage, no. But Memory Deluge also takes an entire turn cycle while not committing to the board. Matter of fact the only kinds of deck that can actually commit that kind of time solely to drawing cards IS control. Almost every other deck has something more important to be doing.

An unmitigated disaster. 26% winrate. Go back to the tempo strategy
@SpiritSquadMTG3 ай бұрын
Where is this number coming from? The deck has been consistently putting people in Top 8's of just about every Pioneer Challenge on MTGO, especially remf and ThaisM.
