I feel like reckoner would be the budget coat option, smugglers copter serves a completely different purpose

I crafted Coats and have them ready for the next video 😅🤣 But I should clarify. By budget, I meant in the Arena wildcard sense. I think Copters IRL cost more than both of the others and are deff more aggressive card filtering than slower card advantage like the other two. TLDR: agreed.

@@SpiritSquadMTG Awesome looking forward to your next video :D One more thing the Blue Sun's twilight felt a little left out, remember they are actually also great against phoenix stealing a ledger, but also perfectly fine against rakdos taking their things like fable tokens etc.. However they are without a doubt at their best against ensoul stealing a 5/5 for 2 is quite crazy

I can see the value for those but I've never liked those effects. It is better than the Entrancing Melodies we used to play but I hated those too 🤣

Cryptic coat is meh. I love mono blue spirits with some lofty denials and replace faceless with muta vaults they just better easier to active great to tap down creatures with geist or to active for spirit counter spell in flash if needed. Curious obsession is the beesneez too!

Also, to me the Copter was never an option.. In general the deck does not support discarding!

The discard is always the least important part. We care about a 3/3 and the ability to draw into gas when needed.

Coat is busted. I play 3 copies in Dimir Control running 0 creatures. I don't care to flip anything, gimme that board state advantage.

Nah deadass, the creatures flipping up is like the LEAST relevant part. Card is so strong.
