In this playthru Azrael speaks to a few lesser known angels: Alfriel, Barbrael, and Luciel. He also fights alongside the Righteous Dick, the Harlot, and the Altar Boy. He fights a literal bat demon, a man obsessed with bringing people's hell to reality, a worshipper of the bat demon, and a false prophet (and all the other sinners). Azrael is also haunted by a mad clown that he has no connection to and is visited by a man dressed as the bat demon to remind him of the craziness of this city & why he must save it.

Azrael's model is very odd. Firstly, he contains extra pieces that any other model lacks. For instance, Azrael has two torso pieces where Batman has one; his first torso is literally his whole body including his head and his second is just his white and red fabric on top of his actual torso (where the rood is located). His head is really bizarre; because his actual head is part of his first torso, his "head" model is actually his hood. Also he has no face under his mask, it's just a mask with a human eye hole. He's overall very oddly placed together.

The characters are playable in other parts of the game/dlc He uses console commands to make them playable outside of their specific campaigns and gameplay scenarios.
