This is a STUNNING piece! The LAST thing I need is more acrylic paint. But I am LUSTING over those Arteza Metallics and have been for a long time. Now that I've discovered dot painting, it's even worse!! I have some liquid metallics in green, red, blue silver, gold and copper. The silver works great as a white to lighten the colors for top dots. I can get purple, orange and even a lime green with what I already have. I'll play with those before I invest in MORE paint! LOL!

I love your tutorials Susan, thank you so much! This one is beautiful, I like the colours and the tools you use. I like that there is no music and that you've done it in real time so I don't feel that I'm going too slow. The only thing I ask is that you keep the tool size and colour you are using on the screen a bit longer. Susan thank you so much for going over the tools and paints. Wish I'd found this tutorial earlier. I just ordered the beaute galleria tools as I felt lost trying to follow along to a video when she would use these tools. I already have so many different tools, and with many of them being multiples. Also thank you for no music, I appreciate the quietness. It's sometimes hard to follow the teacher with the background music/tv. The one I finished last night whatever she was watching, the F bomb was dropped constantly.

The tool to use to accurately measure the size of your dotting tools is called Calipers. They are available online and are relatively inexpensive. For accuracy you need something that will measure precisely. You don't need the digital display Calipers but they do make life easier. I adore mandalas done in metallic acrylic paints.

I've just found your channel, Susan, and I really appreciate your quiet talking (though you could maybe speak a wee bit louder) and lack of music in your videos. I can always provide my own music if I want some, and it won't be one of those same few tunes you hear over and over in videos because KZbin offers them. I get so tired of those same tunes that I either mute them (possibly missing out on useful information) or close the video and don't finish it. Your patterns and color palettes I've seen so far are all just lovely! Thank you for sharing them with us. If I could get you to change one thing about your videos, it would be to speed them up a bit instead of playing them in real time. Maybe say how much they're sped up or give the total time it took to complete in the description or something. We can always pause or run the video slower if we want to. ☺️

Thank you for the comments :) I asked my subscribers a few months ago about speed of film and almost all liked real time. I do know at your end you can change the play speed . I often just omit playing music but On occasion I ad it in. Hard to get it perfect for everyone lol Thanks again for watching and providing me with feedback. Susan the community where we have our summer cottage has a community centre and at summers end they have a flea market to raise money to pay for insurance on the center. What i am wondering is if I dot some of your designs can I donate the mandalas so they can sell them to help raise those funds? I am sure that people would absolutely love them. They wont be as well done as yours but I would try my best. I love your videos by the way. Hi Susie, at the moment they are still sold out. But honestly any pointy tool can achieve the same effect or your smallest dotting tool, even toothpicks . No idea when that tool will be restocked as it’s been months.

I only have that happen with cheaper paints like craft smart. There is a lot of water in them and can crack. A good paint that doesn’t crack but affordable is DecoArt Americana.

What sizes do you measure for your Galleria set, if you do not mind sharing. Thanks. (Even with my magnifiers I am having a hard time measuring them )

Lori it doesn’t have to be exact. You just need an XS,SM, M, L size to stylus. That will work just fine. XS about .5 mm S about 1 mm M 1.5 mm L 2 mm

@@SusanNelsonCreations I have the Galleria set but some of them look the same size to me. When I follow a pattern I try to be precise. I do not have much luck with winging it. It’s how I cook too. If I throw in a little of this a little of that that next thing is usually throw it in the trash!

I DISLIKE THE NO TALKING & NO MUSIC, it makes for a VERY BORING Tutorial. if someone doesn't like the music or the talking they can turn their switch down. I do my crafts in the wee hours of the morning & can't have my own music blasting while I work. That being said I enjoy following U however if U R going to have NO MUSIC & no TALKING I will take my craft & my time & move on because as I said I find the silence very BORING!
