I'm trying my best to research Aztec society (just to educate myself more on Mexican history) and your channel has helped tremendously so far. Thank you!

Thank you for the remarks! This is fortuitous timing as I am considering whether to move the Nahuatl to its own channel. Please vote in the poll when it comes!

Do you know if the book on 40 classes of magicians is available anywhere in english? Thank you! excited to look over some of videos in your channel. Have you looked into the works of Sergio Magaña? I am very familiar with his works and would love to hear your thoughts.

I have not found an English translation of 40 Clases, but I plan to make separate videos on some of the more well-known figures from the work. I'm not familiar with Sergio Magaña: From what I've gathered, perspectives on the Toltec in New Age vs. archaeological circles are very different. (I did revisit Tula in 2022, and I have more videos on the history of the Toltec ahead!)

@@EyeoftheSerpent I got into the study of Toltec material from a bit of a new agey perspective but I'm excited to delve deeper into the archeological side of things. I found your channel while looking for an interview with Timothy Knab which I did not find but found your channel instead which I am happy about. Regarding Sergio Magańa, I have studied with him over the past 3 years and he does appear to have inherited much wisdom from authentic lineages and teachers of the Toltec line. I would highly recommend his work. I'm also excited to see any video on Tula, I visited there in 2020 and would love to see what you have to say about it. Glad to have found your channel and connect :)

Are you a day keeper? If so who's correlation and anchor date do you use? Most correlations online I personally think are way off
@EyeoftheSerpent2 жыл бұрын
I only "keep the days" in a personal manner, for my own observance with daily prayer and other practices. I use the Alfonso Caso correlation, per the famous 8/13/1521 = 1 Coatl conversion. I am aware that the different correlations have their own relative strengths and weaknesses, so I avoid claiming any have special authority until I've compared them more thoroughly. Thank you for watching!
