Aztec Ruins and Salmon Ruins in New Mexico

New Mexico was my favorite state from my road trip. Especially the northern part of the state. My favorite road was highway 96 between Regina and Abiquiu. Most beautiful road I’ve ever been on, ever. Close second was from Las Vegas NM to Taos. After that are some roads in Wyoming and California. I absolutely love New Mexico.

Same here! I have never been to NM until I went on this road trip. I loved the Taos area! When we drove from Santa Fe to Farmington, we debated whether to take Highway 96 or US-550, but ultimately decided to take US-550. I bet the scenery on Highway 96 is stunning! We LOVED the drive from Las Vegas NM to Taos. That drive probably took the top spot as the most beautiful drive for me. A close second would be the drive from Page down to Sedona (I'll post videos about this drive, too 😃) I haven't checked out Wyoming yet and it's definitely on my bucket list!
