As someone who farmed this gm with raiden flux, I can say that he did NOT give it justice at all. The super itself with ascension can stun both overloads and unstops. Ascension for the jolt and the palm strike/slam attack both apply blind. Tempest strike is so bad compared to ascension for jolting and the dmg of tempest is so average (and it hurts it even more that you can't spam tempest strike during super... plz bungie) Although I would say, whoever submitted that build, he could've used Outbreak instead of Anarchy. The super regen from this is insane Edit: Found out that Banner of War buffs arc staff super...

I've farmed it all week with bad Juju. No run has been longer than 25 mins and most runs have been between 17-22 mins. Not crazy fast but really consistent considering i had a variety of teammates. Arc staff absolutely pummels champs with the LLH combo. I've been running arc staff with undercurrent adept lead from gold voltshot and bad Juju and wendigo Raiden flux is nasty now especially with the super generation of bad juju. Agreed about ascension too. Tempest strike just isn't good right now in pve. Has a lot of potential but is lacking synergistically.

The hunter gameplay is a true disservice to raiden flux and arcstaff. You use ascension to stun overloads and the slam or third attack in the combo to blind unstoppables. Also, red death is very helpful for arc subclasses when brawn is active.

I literally paid eggplants for a submission and submitted a point contact build with ex diris. He didn't even look at it, ran with this build instead and they refunded me my eggplants lol. A consistent 100% buff plus the buff from the artifact on blinded targets and weakening would've hit hard

Arc needs survivability badly. When Amplified you should recharge Shields when moving. Which increases when sprinting and with Speedbooster. But with Amplified Uptime it would be like 10 Health per Tick slightly moving, 15 per tick full speed movement and Sprinting would be 20 and Speed Booster 25 per Tick Vs Restorations 35 / 50 Per Tick and it doesn't recover Health like Cure and Restoration. Only the Shields. Also maybe give increased ability regen rates when Speed booster is active - Like 50% like Eye of another world. So you get abilities back a bit faster when running to the next encounter. And then when Sprinting enemies have reduced accuracy towards you. This would be the perfect buff to Arc because it only has the ONE positive Verb and 2 Negative Verbs Vs the 5 that Solar has and 7 that Void Has. Just Giving it Galvanic Armour or a Damage Resistance is such a boring Sandbox and not the Arc Identity. Galvanic Armour is a fantastic Artifact Mod not an Arc Identity. That's why I like Cure, Restoration and Overshields. It fits the Solar and Void identity fantastically. The Same with Woven Mail and Frost Armour it maybe just Damage Resistance but it fits the two

Hunter as a whole needs Survivability badly. Invis doesn´t cut it anymore in this Sandbox outside of going for a Res. What makes it even worse is that Bungie nerfed Combination Blow even though it sucks in Content where you actually need Health.

Nah they just need to add a fragment that heals you when you pick up ionic traces (while amplified, you get more health back), and a fragment that gives you galvanic armor. That would fix the survivable issues and give them a better kit overall

Gifted Conviction with this setup would have given way more survivability. It makes Ascension much stronger and gives you a lot of damage resistance if you hit at least 3 targets with it.

Queenbreaker has been my old reliable in high level stuff for a long ass time, its really solid even without the artifact stuff. It does solid damage so you can shoot a beefy target and it zaps all the ads nearby, and both the original target and the ads all get blinded, so anything alive is basically a non issue anyways, really good for managing crowds and keeping heat off of you. Plus its just nice and snappy and feels nice to shoot imo, it kinda is just a really well rounded weapon that kinda does everything you really would want it to do in high level content, keeps your team safe with blinding aoe damage, while dealing good damage to priority targets at the same time. Anyways this is a real long way for me to say give it a shot its really fun :)

So i did something extremely simpler to the hunter. Almost exact same, difference is im rocking Centrifuse since im pretty much just 100% amp all the time and the explosion with blind carries alot of fights. Which is why the hunters build had so much mobility, its to help spam class ability for amp mainly. I dont even use it offensively sometimes since i get it so fast sometimes when i just wanna be amp just for the speed bonus just popping it just to pop it because i know imma have it right back from 1 pack to the next.

It would be cool, if in the prismatic subclass, you could choose between either a combination-grenade (i.e. the arc/strand for Titan, void/stasis for Warlock, and stasis/solar for Hunter), or instead having the option to choose a special prismatic melee or class ability instead. It would be kinda neat to see what ideas that could bring forth for buildcrafting

I've been using this point contact build since they announced the buff, since LAST act. Firstly charge your melee ALL the way, fuckin slaps. Secondly,use centrifuse and lost signal. Lastly you should ALWAYS be amplified, between lances and punches there's little need for a gun.

Ive been running prismatic point contact in the gm and it slaps. The melee regen is definitely better now. Also the new pulse with jolting feed back can stunning both champs, its definitely a better choice imo

What’s goin on with his colors? All the blues are more of a cyan color. It’s most prominent when you see the stasis crystals from glacial grenade. But they’re more of an arc cyan than a dark blue that stasis is normally.

I am absolutely loving witherhoard with arc staff. Just constant jolting and blinding, and ascension can deal with overloads and unstops easily with ascension. It can deal with barriers too because you can just kill them before they pop the shield.

@@Revadike Overload grenade launcher. If you stick them with witherhoard they get stunned constantly. That and the damage ticks activate jolt, so jolting them then sticking them or any larger enemies just clears rooms really quickly. And it also weakens them.
