Ok I want to give context to some cultural backgrounds about Azucena. Here in Perú, we have a great diversity to explore both in our geography, history, culture and the people. This country has a big mix of cultures that happened in the last 500 years and this is reflected in our gastronomy, which is known for being awarded as the best gastronomical destination in the world in the last 10 years or so. This is because our cuisine is a reflection of our culture, the people. Everytime a new group of people came to this country, their way of cooking and preparing dishes was added to the roster and mixed and matched with other ones. We have a big asian descendant community (mostly japanese and chinese) as well as afroperuvian, native, spanish influence in the way we prepare our dishes today. What Azucena is doing here is what peruvian chefs have been doing for decades, trying new mixes and blends of culture to create new dishes that reflect the combination of our culture. Azucena is from Cajamarca (even if her stage looks and was probably intended to be Cuzco), a place of hard-working people but kind people. One of my grandmas was from this place, her family had a little plot where they had coffee and other crops. I can see Azucena growing and wanting to support her family (her wiki info mentions this as well), so she literally is doing MMA, modeling and studied business managing in college to help her family business. That's such a peruvian thing, i'm really proud of the way they did her story. Is she morally grey for being on g-corps side? maybe, yeah. Harada said they decided to get her on g-corp's side because many peruvian tekken players are mishima fans, so... do with that info as you will. She's still great representation.... Also, side note, i love that when she's talking with Lili here, you can hear her tone of voice and speech slightly different, she's being more genuine here since there are no cameras and no need to sell her coffee to the audience. Yeah she's passionate and trying to convince Lili that coffee is the best, but she's not being a walking ad right now. She's doing it from the heart D': sorry, i have a lot of feelings about this xD
