Everything looked really good. I don’t know about this place in particular but most Mexican restaurants will give you as much chips and salsa as you want.

We have noticed that many of the Tex Mex places in the mountains have stopped giving the free chips and salsa. One of our favorite Tex Mex restaurants in Gatlinburg, The Loco Burro, stopped this as well. The free chips and salsa is one of the things that people look forward to, including us, so it's sad to see some of the restaurants doing away with it. Love the creamy jalapeno sauce. They serve it here, at Chuy's, in Beavercreek, OH. I always spoon a little over my beans and rice, absolutely delish

If you come this way… look up Haywood BBQ. They have a location in waynesville, dillsboro and franklin. Apparently, they won an award (maybe more by now) of best bbq in America. It was voted by people online. I guess it was a yahoo award. Anyway, it might say on their Facebook page, i dont do Facebook. I heard about it like a year ago. A few days ago someone said it just was in newspaper, so I’m wondering if it’s another. It’s good. Im not sure it’s best in America ! Lol I thought you’d find that interesting. Cherokee has a great burger right on the river , but they aren’t open till spring/summer. It’s in an old trailer right on the river across from the Co-op kinda. Picnic tables. It really is a good burger. Other than that, the casino I guess would make good videos with all the Gordon Ramsey, guy fieri, etc. I’ve not been to casino since it doubled in size and added all that. I use to go to eat there about 1o years ago. Can’t seem to get motivated enough to drive over there to eat. Lol BJ’s Diner is the place on river with burger. I told NC Memorymakers about it and they went and made a video on it and apparently it is their most watched video. Or was… not much to go eat it in cherokee , thst isn’t tourist type .
