Thanks for the info. looked it up at Petsmart and it does not seem to have any black grains as in your tank. Did you add something to it? How do you like this as a substrate, thinking of using for a 500 gallon african predator tank I am setting up

African Cichlids the one is a black belt the other is actually a guttulatus. the black belt stays to himself. I hear some can be real aggressive though.

Efrain's Cichlids I feed them 10mm carnivore. They don't fight at all. that's not to say at some point they won't. Really passive unless I'm feeding them. Then they go crazy.

Paris Barksdale about a year and a half. they grow quick. about the size they ate at now they slow down.

Deon 0026 ph is lower. the driftwood helps with that. water temp is same. Probably 300. I've been on the lookout for a few months now.

Wow you got him at that size. How much was he? I just picked up 1 at 2 inches and it cost me 27..... with tax lol. But i thought it was a good deal the other petshop i seen them in had them for 50
