Azul VS Sagrada - Which Game is Better?

Thanks for this video! I always heard "Sagrada and Azul have similar mechanics", but never got the point because I've never played Azul, only Sagrada. But I've read both manuals and thought they were very different. Your video helped me finding the similarities. Thank you!

I feel like the simplicity of Azul is actually a boon when it comes to interactivity, as it is a lot more transparent what your opponents need, and therefore how your moves will impact them. While I like Sagrada, the strategy sometimes feels akin to solitaire, despite the fact that I'm playing with others.

Fair point, I think that Azul feels more a like a multiplayer puzzle while Sagrada feels more like a game. And obviously I prefer the latter 😁
