I'll just start by saying yeah I know I don't have my trademark glasses on. It's cause it's getting more and more annoying having to make sure I have glasses around me to make videos. Sometimes you just want to get up and make a video without having to worry about where your glasses are and stuff like that.
Now onto the main stuff. Some people have waited so long...almost a full year for this old af anime opening that is terribly sung. Yeah, I was getting kinda tired of doing openings of animes I haven't watched. JoJo, My Hero and Tokyo ghoul were all openings recommended to me by friends. I did them because they all had very interesting openings. This time, however, I thought it was time to go back to my routes. It was time to finally do an opening of something I watched before. Sadly, all the anime I watched are old af. This one came to mind since this opening was Bryant and my version of rick rolling each other. It was such a stupid opening with such a dumb sounding song. At first I thought this would be crazy easy to reenact; I was hoping it would take maybe 20 hours and then be done with it. Sadly this did not come true. My laptop is still fairly slow sometimes with 4K video. "But Jabari," I hear you saying, "why not just record in 1080p...4K is not even worth it." Well look, 4K 60fps looks clean af and it allows youtubes compression to chill a little. I also just like the idea of using the top quality images I possibly can. Can you blame me for that?
That, however, brings me to the slow computer problem. I love this laptop, but in order to make videos more quickly I really need a beast of a desktop. I hoped I could maybe get a sponsorship and get some chump change from this video. I emailed crunchyroll hoping to have a fitting sponsor for my openings. It was going to be so clean. The sad thing is, crunchyroll completely ignored my emails. I guess it was because I don't have 100,000 subscribers and 60 million collective views. Well I'll remember that. smh
Oh and last thing, I'm going to try and upload a little more in the coming weeks. I'm going to upload the two IntagramTV videos I have made. Instagram doesn't really know what they are doing with that platform, so I might as well upload those quality videos to where all my viewers are. I also have some big plans for an educatainment video. THE HISTORY OF SPACE FLIGHT. It's just a little something I want to try out. I really liked making those "educational" videos like the vans and law video. I also have plans to make a huge animation for each of my podcast episodes (don't expect something crazy from that one though). I also tried making a skit last December and was planing on editing it all this week, but it turned out i was missing footage for that. Sad days man...It was going to be pretty funny too.
But that's really it for the updates. I don't know when the next opening will happen...Probably next year. I don't know what anime to do the next one on either. I might just keep doing some older ones I have watched unless a new anime has an opening that's interesting. Hopefully This video doesn't get copyrighted like tokyo ghoul did. After disputing it like crazy I finally got it back but that was like 3 weeks after when I was planning to upload in the first place. I'm pretty sure it also caused a big hit in my views since it didn't notify any of my subscribers due to the whole copyright situation. This youtube crap is so annoying. I really wished instagramTV wasn't a waste. KZbin really needs some competition as a video platform. Sadly instagram (facebook) doesn't know what they are doing.
Edit: It got copyright right as I uploaded. I am currently disputing so I guess it will be a while till anyone actually reads any of this. I'm gonna fight this like crazy though. They ain't got NOTHING on me.
Edit 2: Got the video back in record time. Screw these companies! They think they have all the power, but they back down when someone just as confident as them fights back. Remember people, if you are completely sure that you hold the rights to your video or are protected by fair use, FIGHT IT TO THE END! These companies try to scare you into backing down. They'll keep refuting your dispute until the final one where they either have to send you to court or back down. They will 99.9% of the time back down at that point. Its not worth fighting a small time youtuber for some petty crap like that and then losing. (Though, if you actually don't own any of the rights or are NOT protect by fair use don't follow this wisdom or you are screwed)
Screw King Records, Marvelous Inc, and Warner Brothers btw.
