Independence was one of my favorites long before her retrofit but now she's a monster in damage and air superiority. She absolutely shreds the large mob nodes in 13-4 and her refit chibby is adorable 😁

Independence has powerkrept Casablanca in the blink of an eye! By the time Independence retrofit was released, I had Casablanca leveled up to 104 and now she is a little useless. :D

Prince of Wales the Pseudo Flagship of Eagle Union (lol) gives a nice Avi and AA boost to Independence too 👌

Since nobody mentioned her, I'll just say it. You forgot her sister Bataan. May not be a Aviation Buff but a Reload (15% for all carriers but her) and AA (50 for every ship in the Main Fleet, and is a flat stat increase) buff is still good to have. Note: Must be Off-Flag to activate. Not to mention, Bataan has the 2nd highest reload out of all CVs (and one less plane loadout). So a fleet with the two in it would be a terrifying sight.

yeah Bataan is actually pretty damn good I got her at lvl 120. Very good damage output for simple CVL without powerful retro like Independence which frankly after retro outperforms most SSR CVs ...

Avi buffs for Pendy(Independence): Fleet 1: PoW(not Flagship)/Independence/(Any Eagle Union Main Ship) Bremerton/Potter/Baltimore (no Centaur since we're focusing on USS biased fleet) Fleet 2: New Jersey/(Any other 2 USS Main Ship:Mainly Georgia and Massachusetts for Medium-Heavy armored Bosses like Taihou) Minneapolis(Tank because of Zombie skill)/(Any USS Vanguard)/San Francisco(for Dmg Support). Overall Avi. Buffs Gained: PoW:12 Pendy:12 Balti:15 NJ:15 Total:54 (Note:Potter's skill is Dmg Increase for CVs and not Avi buff.) Maybe this would do good in W13.

unrelated but im curious. if the limit break says torp bomber +1 n slot 1 can equip torp bomber, does the +1 aso apply to slot 1 or oni the original torp bomber slot(slot 3)

I'm gonna assume not. The LB happens before the retrofit, and it seems weird that it would then retroactively apply to the fighter slot just because it's no longer strictly a fighter slot. Test it and report back.

F8 Bearcat is also good for Independence it is a better plane for Eagle Union especially for her #EagleUnionSupermacy

Anyone else having problems with collecting specialized cores from weekly missions? Like getting a message that say that collected specialized cores will exceed limit and the cores will be dropped, even though I only have maybe 3500 cores? I could have sworn there was no limit to how much you can accumulate, as I had over 9000 cores at one point.

While there is no limit to how much specialized cores you can have, there is a limit to how much you can obtain per month. I believe the limit per month is 4K and exceeding that will give you a prompt saying you’ve exceeded the limit. Check out your events and click on the specialized core section to see if you’ve reached 4K

@@raenvir209 I had around 3500 cores, the reward would have given me 200 so I was still far from the 4k limit. Instead, I got 35 cores from it. Strange, and annoying.

Yep, all of them have great AA so that would be good. If you find that you're not having enough damage, I would consider switching North Carolina to Alabama, Washington, Georgia, etc.

One of her skills makes her aircraft efficiencies higher when equipping Eagle Union aircrafts You probably need to level up that skill to Lvl 10
