Imo Rumey is most likely suited for Polyvalent Mob fleet in OpSi or Campaign and not so much of a boss fleet. I can obviously be wrong here since she has been release only a few days ago. Not every new UR ship has to be made for boss fleet and having new ships for mob fleet is a good direction for azurlane imo

So what I think kinda happen with Rumey in this case is that you have 2 BB dedicated cats so at best she only get 2 flame buffs unless you got mix skill cats, in this fleet she only get buffed by Z52 and Alsace unlike Kazagumo, Bristol, Laffey/Helena in the other fleet, also having Zwei crossfleet to buff her with 15% AVI probably better than 15% FP, with that her dmg probably increase close to that of Yorktown in the showcase?

There was no Bristol in the image. Air raid assistance is 15% damage. 10% AVI and HIT from skill 3 is ~10% damage. 100 AVI from cat is ~10% damage. 15% AVI from Bismarck is ~12%. Shinano and Hakuryuu’s buff is comparable to Alsace, Z52 and Soyuz cross fleet debuff so those will be ignored 242K*1.15*1.1*1.1*1.12=377K. Ignoring the fact that I didn’t have double aggressive fire and La-9 back then while I do have them now. And she’s supposed to be 25% better, so I’m looking at 337K*1.25=421K, 377K is nowhere near that

@QuyetNguyen-qv8gw May I have a look at your calc for Rumey vs Yorktown against heavy armor? Because I checked Reikurozuki's calc and it suggest that Rumey is only 13% better than Yortown vs heavy which in this case is kinda close 337k * 1.13 = 380k vs 377k, though their calc also suggest that Rumey is 25% better when fighting medium?

@@trucle5474 I probably made a mistake somewhere. But if that the case then it’s only fair to disregard double aggression fire, since Yorktown didn’t have those back then, so 377K/1.06=356K for Rumey. Now, the CN don’t care that much about OpSi, all the calculation is for meta. You assume Rumey receives buff from Bismarck and UVH, while Yorktown only receives buff from NJ (Guam didn’t exist back then), so Rumey is expected to deal even more damage. So I still think there’re some bug going on

Most likely they will rework Rumey, i mean having a UR CV with 30% less FP it's kinda silly. Either additional plane or a rework of how the gun in the 3rd slot works.

There isn't even a good metric on how to test her damage right now and she's supposed to be pretty mid vs all current enemies which is all there is right now: heavy armor Past times have shown to not always trust calcs so just wait and see, can never be sure People shat on york 2 in a similar manner

Me: *throws NJ in mob because waifu and is surprisingly working.* I'm going to try the Amagi fleet again over Yorktown II for this month even if i have more faith and better results with Yorktown II. I want to correct anything I'm doing wrong. As for the gear, what is the sub for La 9 for medium and heavy loadouts? If I find I have better results with Yorktown II, then I guess I know which ships like me more. Lol As always, thank you for sharing your fleet setups and explaining your reason behind those choices. Your videos are very helpful for me.

Her 10 second barrage is decent, and hey mob fleet is used whoever your waifu is. I used Napoli, Vittorio, Impero in my mob fleet and it works well enough.

Wow!! I just recently got into Azur Lane(Love Waifu Collectors)I know being a rookie I won't have any of these ships but could someone put the names of the units? So I can look forward to getting them. Love their skins. I did get all the units on new banner so thats a plus. But right now i'm build fleets with same faction which I assume isn't good. mob fleet : bearn meta unicorn independence, watarase ibuki unzen 2 fleet: amagi cv implacable shinano, 1 one dont know kazagumo bristol 3 fleet: fritz rumey alsace looks like either bismark or bismark zwei , guam z52 looks like and plymouth 4 fleet: musashi ulrich Sovetsky Soyuz, kronshtadt shimakaze submarines no idea

Nobody mentioned it but same fleet factions are fine, they usually have buffs for eachother as well
