If the dress code is labeled as "smart casual" rather than "formal," chinos paired with a button-up shirt and blazer could be a suitable choice. Always check the cruise line's dress code policy to ensure you're dressed appropriately for the occasion. This is what I found on the internet on Royal Caribbean smart shorts are ok but I know it’s long trousers on Azura, but formal night is optional , you can wear regular clothes and go to the buffet for food ,hang out in a bar and that way you don’t need to dress up.
