No, doesn't work for an App Service that needs access to Key Vault to get a certificate with a private key. Still getting "KeyVaultErrorException: Access denied".

OMG! This point is really important: kzbin.info/www/bejne/h6fKkIV3j76AfKc I've been struggling with this for days, and there's no clue whatsoever about Authorized application having to be left empty!!

You would need to grant access to the managed identity on the key vault under access policies
