Below are the Advantages
1) It helps to choose the right Platform for your Environment. For Example what is the right series in case of IAAS and what are the no of cores that we should opt in case of PAAS
2) It helps in pointing to right directions in case of any blockers with Database Migration
3) It helps in Migrating the logins(to Azure VM or Azure MI) although it is still in preview phase
4) It helps in Migrating the TDE Enabled databases to Azure Managed instance by copying the private Keys and certificates.

Would the specificity of assessment vary if you had chosen the exact same databases to migrate? Because, I see that you selected the 'WorldImporters' database in DMA (@5:24-@5:40) and 'WorldImportersDW' database in Azure SQL Studio(@7:00-@7:09).
