I'm thankful the Azure team scrutinizes each product, and one of the biggies IS the "natural flavor" ingredient. As for the company or companies who will only disclose their secret natural flavor(s) to Azure, but leave it a mystery for we the customers...well, I still would not buy it. I doubt any seasoned label reader would! I would ask that Azure raise that bar one further and not even offer those products if the companies cannot be 100% transparent. period. Having said that, I still buy almost all my food from Azure because of the high standard and will continue to do so. Thanks Azure!

I'm a medical coder, and I can not believe how many chronic conditions YOUNG people already have! It just baffled me. Got sucked into homesteading/crunchy/food youtubers which led me here to Azure and my experience had been so wonderful! Love the cheese especially...my fave! Thanks for all you do!

I very much appreciate Azure's stand on banning artificial ingredients, etc. This video was very informative. I wish you would reconsider your stance on external use of certain additives as acceptable, when you banned them for internal use. Our skin is the largest organ of our body and what you put on your skin can make its way to the inside. In my view this can be just as destructive to our health.

It is very frustrating (if you shop elsewhere) to pick up item bought often over time read label and see there is crap in it. I felt like I had been let down big time when reading a jar of beets at a shop had corn syrup in it. 😥 I told my husband of the frustration and he said check Azure.

Alcohol sugars do cause troubles for those with sensitive GI systems. Ask me, as I have colitis. I have to avoid anything with alcohol sugars. What I cant eat or use on my skin doesnt mean someone else is okay using/eating something. I listen to Dave's talk while I'm cleaning the house. Azure makes my shopping so easy as I know I'm not spending hours trying to figure out weird ingredients

I am impressed with how smart and knowledgable you Azure people are. I have a question. Do your vegan butter and ghee flavored oils have diacetyl? They don’t list the butter flavor used. They just says vegan. Diacetyl is vegan.

Natural flavors is such a broad term, sort of like the term fragrance, it's best to use discernment when reading labels. Personally, when I hear of recalls there is a sense of peace knowing that Azure is committed to standards in the products they sell. My favorite video post to share with those considering shopping at Azure is the banning of 50 products with toxic sugars.

I appreciate your commitment to healthy food. A lot of those GRAS ingredients are derived from corn, so we have to avoid them anyway. It’s frustrating when companies are not transparent bc so many allergies are so prevalent now. We avoid natural flavors bc they are often derived from corn. We are so thankful for Azure Standard!

I just happened onto this channel, and decided to listen for awhile . I heard the guy talk about Chinese food from a restaurant, and say ",,you could make your own stir fry at home, you can get the organic vegetables, you can your own noodles,,," 😳 First of all, I'm for the Fried Rice, Sweet & Sour chicken, Chow Maine, fried prawns! Yes, I can cook it at home, and have! But it never tastes as good. And it completely DESTROYS MY KITCHEN!😭😭 And tales half the day to cook it !!! Naw, it's take out

I live in Central Minnesota and there is a company nearby called Smude's that produces sunflower oil that is filtered, but not refined. It is non-GMO, Kosher certified, and Gluten-free. It is the only sunflower oil we use. I wonder if Azure could start carrying it?

I very much agree with your discussion about the positive impact of healthy food. However, many often long undetected issues, such as diabetes, puberty delay or irregularity, etc., also have to do with pesticides in the fields (did the parents and/or children work in others' fields?), on the food, and lead poisoning, to name a few. As for autism, cerebral palsy, seizures, SIDS, etc., one also should look at possible insults at birth (of which the parents are often not made aware) as possible contributors, such as shoulder dystocia, cord around the neck, heart rate accelerations (ignored in favor of decelerations), deliberately prolonged labor because the doctor would not be at the hospital until after office hours, etc., and physical neglect or abuse of the growing and developing human. Another reason for increases in issue frequency (such as autism) may be that autism is now part of the "vocabulary" and sought more than before. Disadvantaged children might have diseased pancreases and not know they have diabetes if they never had a blood test (until age 43 - ask me what that meant to a developing body and how I know). Predicting good health must depend upon many factors. Relying upon only one factor so heavily might only predict disappointment.

@@crissato7710 Look up what can be contained in "natural flavors." For instance, the FDA allows propylene glycol to be a natural flavor. A guy died from drinking Fireball whiskey. It was determined that the propylene glycol in the Fireball whiskey was what killed him. Europe wont all propylene glycol in their Fireball whiskey.

Crops to produce oil are commodities. One may think they are healthy/unhealthy based on the characteristics of the plant, but there is nothing healthy when their seeds are GMO, seeds are covered with chemicals and heated prior to being planted, then the soil is treated with chemicals, or the plants are sprayed with chemicals. After harvest the crop is sprayed/gassed again, and the silos also use chemicals to protect the harvest. Then they are milled/bagged, and in storage they get sprayed/gassed again.

I decided to purchase Azure canning jars and noticed that they are not as clear as the Ball jars, which means it has more impurities. I know that they are made in China. It will be the last time I purchase canning jars from Azure.

Non-GMO, raw, cold first pressed is the best for any great oil by world standard. High heat destroys properties that may be healthy for us. Slow cooking retains most nutrients of all foods. Recently, traveling to oil pressed makers and taking soil samples. Italies Laudeme extra virgen olive oil, their soil sample is beyond great. Extremely nutritious. Just fyi for now.

I initially thought I had found a great company that cared about the ingredients & their customers health. After listening to the first 20 minutes of this discussion, I find it very disturbing that you’re still only listing “natural flavors” without stating exactly what the “natural flavors”are. For those of us with autoimmune disease & numerous food & substance allergies , we cannot possibly take a chance with questionable ingredients. If you can’t demand that from your manufacturers unfortunately I won’t be able to order from you. It’s interesting that you want to verify what’s in the food that you put into your body, but you can’t have the same respect for the people people you’re selling to, and demand it from your manufactures. Just because you review an item & decide it’s OK for you, does not make it OK for someone who’s had numerous trips to the emergency room with anaphylactic shock due to substances that are not disclosed. It’s unfortunate I originally thought you would be a good company & wondered why I had not run across you before.
