Excellent! Concise and clearly explained when Private Link being setup to have one org/subscription's private end point to another org/subscription's private end point ie like load Balancer PE this case. This is something Azure Docs having a hard time explaining to make people understand private link, a vague term in its context!!

straight to the point and very concise. I've watched a lot of Pluralsight and CBT Nugget videos and I must say, this is so much better. Minimal theory stuff and straight to the lab/example demo. Good job!

It is awesome!!... i have one question If we are making a call to one pass service to another pass like one web app calling a storage account, in this case we need to assign Private end point to both services web app and Storage account?
@cloud-monk3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your feedback Amar. It depends on the Paas Services, usually PaaS services are not inside of your Virtual Network so they might not benefit from private endpoint, however VNet injected PaaS services could benefit because in this case the PaaS service itself is deployed inside of your virtual network, hope that clarifies

Can we access storage from any machine through private endpoint
@GouthameeswarDaivapu4 жыл бұрын
To access easyveganfoods website from secret recipes onprem, what would be the ip? would that be Ip of the private endpoint or the private link service? If it is that of the private link service, I guess we should make sure that that particular IP address should not be present in the secret recipes vnet.
@cloud-monk4 жыл бұрын
The IP comes from the private endpoint which is the from the virtual network

Is it possible to restrict the inbound and outbound rules for the web app by placing the app inside a subnet and restricting the public access using nsg rules?? I was unable to block the ports using the nsg rules. But I want to make my api app and sql db private???
@AkshayKumar-re3bf2 жыл бұрын
Bro, as we have already established service end point connection between the Vnet and storage account, so he can access the backend storage account through the vm created in that vnet,,, so then what is the need of private end point?
