Purview Power Bi lineage is so frustratingly limited at the moment, this is something our customers really want to be able to see. The end to end usage of data is what people want to visualise.

absolutely and it should include on-prem sources of data too or you can't get the full picture

@@l_combo agreed, although it is still in the early stages/preview, so I'm sure it will happen in due course, it just feels like it is not completely ready for an enterprise deployment yet. In terms of information governance, it would be a game changer for a custer to see exactly where the data comes from, what's columns are in use, and the respective classifications applied to a column. I'm sure in 6 months to a year it's going to be even better. It's a step in the right direction though!

@@DuffmanOhNo yeah, it's frustrating that the "Lineage" tab inside Power BI has better lineage that Purview so far, but they'll get there. The demo's they've already done show that the capability is there/planned at least!

I am not AD admin for enterprise, and will never become one. Are there other ways to incorporate my Power BI reports? And is it also possible to manage power bi data sources across multiple ADs?

They've made some improvements here recently - definitely a good point about "what's the minimum amount of permissions we can get away with". I'll be looking at the updated power bi integration and seeing if it has answered your questions soon!

Some kind of noise reduction or echo cancellation algorithm works too hard here for me :} It cuts your words, mutes some sentences, kinda annoying :P Nevertheless, you rock!

One day I'll get audio sorted :) Was getting a load of audio interference so boosted the noise cancellation, I'll have a tinker before the next one!
