Kinda late but it has to do with how Black Doom knows about Shadow's trust problems, especially with humanity. Acting as a person who is always willing to accept him based upon objective conditions (such as his blood being related with those of Black Doom) allows him to create a stronger bond with an already fearful Shadow.

I'm sure it's been pointed out already but this level's two missions make no sense. Black Doom wants to detonate bombs to destroy the city within a time limit, while Knuckles says you need to stop a bunch of bombs within a time limit or the city will be destroyed. Either Black Doom is an idiot and had a plan B, or Knuckles sent you on a wild goose chase.

It's pretty simple. Black Doom wants the big bombs detonated to destroy a bigger portion of the city, but their charge only lasts 8 minutes. He had a Plan B with the smaller bombs, but it obviously benefits him more to have bigger destruction. If the mission runs over time, he and Shadow can't make it out of the city and die (due to just how many small bombs there are, which will have all blown up by that point), along with Doom not achieving his preferred amount of destruction. However, they can immediately Chaos Control out of there (to The Ark) after detonating the 5th big bomb *if it's on-time*, so they get maximum destruction with both bomb types that way. Knuckles needs the smaller bombs destroyed because obviously he doesn't want the city getting destroyed in any way. If you fail, both he and Shadow die to the explosions.

This is really suspisious. I the end of video, Tails says true name of aliens. But thats nothing make sense because only Black Doom and (maybe) Shadow knows The Black Arms. This not making any sense.

Shadow Ultimate99 I know this is a year old, but considering that the aliens are rather loud about their entry, and even in one level announce their name to the world, chances are most characters know their names, but just don't bother saying it.

It's possible at some point he did some research to see if there were any records of the aliens, and found them in either GUN's or Eggman's computer (if Eggman had any of Gerald's diaries archived), or perhaps overheard it at some point from somebody who knows what they're called.

​​@@yosephwilliam8076Remember the big bombs need to be actively set off with weapons or homing attacks. The little ones explode on their own if left alone long enough. If you run out of time, the big bombs run out of fuse, but you die from the small bombs' combined explosions essentially. It's a losing situation for both Doom (because he couldn't destroy the city as much as he wanted, and Shadow dies) and Knuckles (because the city is still destroyed quite a bit, and both he and Shadow die).
