Killer George, Wild Mick, and Jeff have always been on point playing this song. There is not a Trio that play it better.

You got that right! That right there, my friend, is a Dokken original! Do you know who the human inspiration was behind this song? Let me know, if you know. I already know who the inspiration was behind this song... just curious as to whether you know, or not.

@@ronaldshank7589 I'm curious if you know...I'm betting you don't. I know though.

This is clearly more important to George than anyone else. And that is exactly why they played as they should.

@2:50 there ain't a tastier transition than this. imagine when they wrote this. the way the drum fills and then doubletime I mean - it's so beautiful. so rare. it was rare then, it's still rare now. so Bonhamesque (I used to say)...

Lynch is on fire! Incredible. I hope he never puts the fire out.
@1970borntorun8 жыл бұрын
Yeah. Lynch can still burn when he wants to! It's kind of a double edge sword for Lynch I'll bet. It's cool on one hand that he is known as one of the original "80s Guitar Gods" with Halen, and Rhoads, but at the same time I know that it bums him out that most of his recorded output is all but ignored past the first 2 Lynch Mob records. It's kinda like the Peter Frampton syndrome. He actually has quite a bit of great material after Frampton Comes Alive, but the casual Frampton fan just wants to hear "Show me the Way" and "Do You Feel Like I Do?" lol

Great Solo! I noticed, though, when Don Dokken came back out, he didn't go anywhere near George. He gave George an applause, and smiled, but you can see that there's no real close connection between these two anymore. Hasn't been for a long time. They started feuding back in the 1980s, and, while they can be civil, unless a miracle happens, these two will never be friends, or at least close friends, ever again.

Dude is such a badass (Lynch). So are Jeff and Mick! Sorry Don, you can tour with the other dudes and it sounds OK, but there's a difference in how they play and how these guys play. No offense to the current band, but it's the truth. Even Mick has said it to George when doing songs like Unchained The Night. There's a difference, man.
@trendmassacre84233 жыл бұрын
Well John Levin is George's equal when it comes to the music Dokken plays, hence why Levin has been with the band for so long now. I just wish John Levin would get the credit he deserves. He isn't trying to be George Lynch, he is trying to be John Levin!

Dokken... Way too much animosity. I watched and very cool, but they couldn't get it together! Not even for the money? Very sad. Great band too!
@trendmassacre84233 жыл бұрын
It had nothing to do with this time around. Jeff had to head on back to Foreigner after this short reunion, hence why the reunion was cut so short.
